Hey Mattel, if you ever read this post I suggest that you ad a section to your Mattel creations site, where you offer custom Ultimate Edition figures. Where we can select 2-3 heads, an upper & lower body, upper & lower Legs, boots or shoes, arms, belt(s) and apparel. Then you assemble them to order and ship them out for $35-$45 a piece (depending on the amount of selections made). People can make almost any current or legend of any era of any licensed superstar figure of their chosing. No specially licensed packaging needed and of course no plastic, but rather wrapped in paper and placed in a basic box marked WWE Mattel Creations, or whatever you see fit. Just an idea.

This would be a crapshow of an operation. This would be hard to maintain and filling orders of tiny pieces wouldn’t be worth it.

Mattel would lose a lot of money at that price point.

Yea, fun idea but this will never EVER happen for so many reasons, but the main one is it would not be profitable at all for them.

And how, might I ask, would this actually work in the real world?

I wish this would have any chance whatsoever of working in the real world. Sadly, build a bear for action figures will never happen.
