Since we're a day away from July & with the Money In The Bank show around the corner, I thought why not make a thread regarding one of the greatest shows in July's history... Fully Loaded 2000.
I loved everything about it. 420K buyrate (insane), nearly 17K fans at the Reunion Arena in Dallas Texas. Great stuff.
Rock vs Benoit in a classic, HHH vs Jericho Last Man Standing in a classic, Val Venis vs Rikish in a Steel Cage for the IC Title... just bangers.
Everything else was OK. Perry Satturn beating Eddie Guerrero for the European Title was cool.
Did you guys enjoy it?

Always think of the Trips/Jericho LMS match when I think of this show. Solid B show from the era

That splash from on top of the cage by Rikishi is probably one of the most forgotten "Holy Sh*t" spots in WWE history. That was so crazy and a moment that doesn't ever get talked about.

That was such a solid PPV!!
All the matches on it are incredible. If you are feeling nostalgic for summer of 2000 WWF wrestling, the Fully Loaded PPV event is the best thing to watch!

This is such a fun PPV! Jericho and Triple H had a great match here and their little title switcheroo was a blast as well. I always look to this as an example that the two of them could have torn the house down at WrestleMania X8, but that match was what it was.
Wasn't the "gimmick" of this show that it was the first ever triple main event or something like that? The WWE was on absolute fire during this time. While WrestleMania 16 was not great, they more than made up for it with the string of shows all the way up to SummerSlam in my opinion. So many guys, not just Triple H and Rock took advantage of the huge vacuum that was left with Austin being out during this time.
I love Austin, but him being away for the end of 99 and most of 00 allowed for the show to have more going on than every other segment being something to do with Austin. Not hating on Austin at all, he was and is the man and so much fun. However, Rock, HHH, Taker, Kane, Jericho, Angle, Rikishi, Benoit and probably a few more that I cannot think of right now, all got a chance to shine an this show is a perfect example of that.

As much as I dislike Val as a person, I loved this era of his work. Rikishi doesn’t get enough love for how over he was as a babyface and how good he was working at the time.

Had a major star in the making but they turned him and he was dead in the water by the start of 2001.

I was intrigued by the Taz heel turn during this time. Thought maybe it would be some resurgence after his quick fall from grace following his debut.
But then he gets put into a feud with Lawler/JR...Yep that quickly faded

Great show.
- Rock/Benoit: One of the best main events of 2000. It was rumored that Benoit was paired with Rock to help Rocky improve his ring skills, but Benoit more than held his own and came off as a legit threat for the title. The “dusty finish” pissed me off as a kid.
- HHH/Jericho: Match of the year candidate. Jericho looked great in defeat and showed he could hang with the top guys. This was the turning point for Jericho in the WWF for me and I could believe him as a top guy after this.
- Taker/Angle: Crappy squash. It’s a testament to how good Angle is that this match didn’t tank his credibility and that he was still on a rocket ship to the world title.
- Rikishi/Venis: Forgotten gem of an IC Title match, and not just for Rikishi’s bump at the end. If it weren’t for the top-two matches this match wouldn’t be so forgotten.
The rest of the card is ok, with Perry Saturn beating Eddie a legit surprise. Eddie was in the middle of his storyline with Chyna while Perry was…well, he wasn’t doing much, but it’s an ok match. And the Hardy Boyz/T&A match gave us some early clips of the the long-standing Trish/Lita feud.

Post mania 2000 to wmx7 is probably the greatest run of PPVs ever
This one was great with having 3 fresh faces in the main event, even if they lost it felt like it added to their momentum and didn’t hinder them.
Fully loaded 2000 is probably my 4th fav 2000 PPV
