Seems safe to assume we're gonna be getting a lot of CM Punk figures, Steve also said there's gonna be a handful of Mutas peppered throughout all of 2025. Id like to think Savage will be back in the fold, I'm sure we'll see an ultimate in the coliseum collection and probably in the ultimate legends line. Cody seems to sell well so id imagine they'll do quite a few elites of him, possibly even some of his legacy/dashing looks. Other than that it seems like there's rumblings of Ventura and Demolition getting legends deals so there's some more anchors for the CC and legends line

Please, for the love of god, stop making us fellow legends collectors look bad, lol. Of course freaking Cody and Punk are going to anchor the Mattel line next year. Not a figure representing something that took place 37 YEARS AGO. “Anchor” or not, I’m an 80’s only collector, and there are quite a few holes to still fill. Of course. I only collect classic guys/girls with Mattels too. But OP always has these types of posts that make us legends collectors look delusional. If we're talking ANCHORING the line, yes, a current megastar like Cody or Roman is going to anchor the line. Not a look from 1987. I personally want Koko B. Ware and Skinner and Mr. Fuji as much as the next hardcore fan on here, but I hate when people act like 80s and 90s stuff is all that matters with the line. Let the current fans get their people too, and obviously they're going to be the ANCHORS of the line moving forward. We gotta be respectful/understand this or we come off just looking super lame imo.

Ultimate, plus easy to throw into Legends and MNW lines.

Gary Hart would be a sick inclusion for the legends line as well

As big as Cody is at the moment, he isn't touching Austin from 1998 or Hogan from the glory days. We're talking 2024-2025 and I did say "right now" Also, this came from Meltzer so it must be taken with a dump truck load of salt but he said Cody is putting up numbers not seen since Austin & Rock from the attitude era. If that is to be believed then it's pretty much impossible to argue against Cody being near the top of the list in company history. Also, Cody being year over year #1 in merch sales since his return in 2022 over names like Austin, NWO, Hogan, etc all but proves the point I've already made. Cody is the top merch mover in the business and his numbers are rivaling the most popular superstar from most popular era. Going by this, we could be seeing a lot of Jey Uso and Rhea Ripley figures next year too

Don’t count out Logan Paul, though I’d be curious to know if his YouTube fans care about owning his figs

If I asked any non wrestling fan under the age of 35 who the Ultimate Warrior was, they would have zero ing clue. You're absolutely wrong about this because I've went up to complete strangers in their 20's and asked them that exact question and they told me exactly who the ultimate warrior was. I've also had young people both young and old, both female and male tell me they were more of a Warrior fan when they see me wearing one of my Hulk Hogan shirts. even though i know this is completely fabricated, the mental image of you going up to random people and asking if they know who ultimate warrior is…it’s hilarious. also…”young people both young and old” 😂

I didn't think any one figure was ever the "anchor" of the line? We certainly have seen a LOT of Hulk Hogan figures over the last two years and I do think they will be running out of looks soon.... they are already dipping into the "obscure" with the upcoming "Guitar Hogan" that as far as I know appeared for about 20 seconds in a Jim Johnston Music Video....
And I don't think they can keep pumping out Hogans at the rate they've been going either.... as others have pointed out, some of them are starting to shelf warm. I'm a pretty complete Hogan collector and even I wasn't very interested in the last two Legends Hogans. One only has to look at the "Top Picks" selections to know who Mattel feels will sell. Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Rey Mysterio seem to be Mattel's consideration for "anchors" and I'm sure they are planning to fully use CM Punk while they can (if they are smart)..... on the Legends side, I think Mattel has to hope WWE signs a few top name Legends back to the fold (Randy Savage, Ric Flair, Sting) to balance out the "anchor" Legends selections.

I think we know based on what will be hitting the shelves in 2025 it will be the year of Punk. They are re-releasing virtually every previous Punk figure, plus new Punk figures - we are going to see a ton of these in 2025. Time for Hogan to take a break, brother. that’s if he behaves himself

Are you surprised tho? When Defining Moments were the premiere line Shinsuke got a figure in that the second he went to developmental. Not main roster, but WWE’s training school, before he even had a chance to do anything “defining”. And then after not quite living up to expectations on the main roster he still got an Ultimate Edition figure in the 2nd wave. Itami got multiple figs and had an elite in the works even tho he was barely on TV due to be injury prone. Bill broke the bank with every new Asuka fig. So yeah, not surprising at all that we’re getting as many Muta figs that Bill can get away with.

I agree that Punk and Cody Rhodes are two big time names for the current product but I disagree they have as much mass appeal as Hogan, Macho and Warrior and I've spoken to several people about this. If I asked any non wrestling fan under the age of 35 who the Ultimate Warrior was, they would have zero ing clue. That said, my friend's 7 year old special needs son who loves wrestling knows EXACTLY who the Ultimate Warrior is, so who's really coming out on top here?

Definitely Cody and Punk, as many have said. But I agree that they're gonna find ways to keep pumping out Bloodline figures, even though the storyline has turned into a big wet fart at this point. Someday, SOMEDAY they're bound to release a black gear Honorary Uce. We're still gonna get Romans. Jey, despite being 'liberated' is gonna get a boatload of figures. I can honestly see them putting out a suited Solo in 2025. The Tonga brothers will also guaranteed to have figures in 2025, I'm guessing pretty early too. And then there is the Final Boss who is gonna have every single look he wore in that run made into some form of figure from basic to UE.
But mostly, Cody and Punk. I know you want your Hogans, buddy, but with as much as the recent figures are warming, I fear (for you) that they may slow down greatly on the Hogans after this year.

I would have to agree with this too. Would y’all also consider people who used to watch wrestling say, 20 years ago wrestling fans? Or just strictly ones who never watched the product at all?
