In the Masters of the Universe Masterverse series, they have an even balanced of two heros and two villains in each set. Why don't Mattel do the same thing with three babyfaces and three heels in each set so that it would make the collection look more organised and balanced? Hasbro did the same thing in their first WWE series also with six babyfaces and six heels. Much better if you ask me.

"Heels and faces" are so 2000-late. Everyone deserves our respect now. At least that's what commentary tells me.

It’s easy for MOTU to do it cuz Skeletor and Beast Man never turn face and He-Man and Orko aren’t ever gonna have a heel turn. With these lines being planned out a year or two in advance it’s nearly impossible to know who’s gonna be evil and who is gonna be good when that wave hits shelves. Plus the modern fan don’t necessarily care that much about heels and faces. They just want updates of their favorites and/or a complete roster.

Plus the modern fan don’t necessarily care that much about heels and faces. They just want updates of their favorites and/or a complete roster. They are all set faces and heels from the time frame that they are released in though. Say for example - Elite 114 is set from around Royal Rumble 2024: Faces - Cody Rhodes, LA Knight, Kevin Owens (that's if you can put him with suitable accessories) Heels - Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, Rhea Ripley (need a female in each pack) Then for set 2 (115) Faces - Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Bayley (variation of RAW/SMACKDOWN superstars) Heels - Roman Reigns, Damien Priest, Gunther Then set 3 (116) Faces - Jey Uso, Bobby Lashley, Becky Lynch Heels - Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, Finn Balor Then set 4 (117) Faces - CM Punk, Sammi Zayn, Rey Mysterio Heels - Santos Escobar, Shinsuke Nakamura, Io Skye Then in the first four sets you have five babyfaces from RAW, five heels from RAW, five babyfaces from SMACKDOWN, five heels from SMACKDOWN. One female babyface from RAW, one female heel from RAW, one female heel from SMACKDOWN. Perfectly balanced dynamic that fits like a glove and would pose great on the shelf.

im guessing you may run into the problem we have now which is a outdated figure by the time it gets released. its a cool idea but i doubt it can be executed properly.

Is Orton an heel or a face? People cheer him but he still doing his heel antics in the ring and hitting post match RKO’s on both “heels and face”. So that’s all been blurred now.

He’s been a face since the RK-Bro stuff in 2021-2022. Orton is more like a anti-hero type of face. It’s similar to how guys like Austin and Rock back in the day, even when they were faces, still had some heelish tendencies.

They’re not really a heel or a face. When they’re a “face” they haven’t changed their ways they’re still acting like a heel in the ring. Just people are cheering for them, but they’re not acting any different. Heels and face no longer really matter because people are going to cheer for who they want regardless of what the wwe is presenting their character as.

It would be a restrictive rule that most customers wouldn’t even notice or care about if they implemented it tbh

If this were the case, good thing Big Show isn't on the roster anymore. That dude turns more than a racecar at a 500. He'd be impossible to project.

With everything else they have to work into each wave:
Anchor figures so the line will sell enough to make retailers happy Making sure the accessories and deco stay within budget for that wave Characters that are prominently on tv at the time the wave is planned WWE’s approval of the characters and looks planned for the wave Balancing what figures are being released in main line elite, ultimate edition, sub-line elites to avoid overstocking a certain character across lines.
Adding another variable like balancing face and heel seems like we would actually miss out on highly sought after looks or lose availability to certain talent altogether.

no offense but who would genuinely care about something like that?
they’re already slacking enough. don’t need even more rules to set them back further

If I was putting together a line I’d probably fall somewhat close to what they’re doing now:
1 - main event level male 1 - female 1 - legend/flashback 1 - mid carder 1 - first time in the line or 1st time in a while 1 - wild card (tag team pairing, another legend, another female, another main eventer)
Definitely wouldn’t want the self imposed pressure of making sure they were balanced evenly between heels and faces on top of that.
