I'm sorry but Jazware's quality control is HORRIBLE, just in the last few series i've had multiple issues, examples:
-Unmatched series 3 anna jay neck peck broke while swapping the heads straight out of the package -Unmatched series 7 Hook had very bad paint app to his shorts -Unmatched series 8 Buddy Matthews had a arm joint mis-glued from factory making his shoulder impossible to move -Series 12 mox arms were very stained from elbow to shoulders even with the little plastic protectors made to prevent staining... -Series 13 butcher had a stuck joint on his foot -Vault Exclusive Malakai Black had weird factory burn marks on the back of his leg and the right hip had a big gap in the connection -RSE Hook came with a FTW belt that had the logos molded upside down (and swapping them around doesn't work as the pegs in back are different sizes)
I recently reached out to their customer support to replace the buddy matthews figure and they instantly shot me down saying it was ringsides fault, I told them this was a factory error problem not a distribution problem. They relooked at my case and gave me a choice of 3 different older series figures since they didn't have any more buddy matthews figures. On the list was Series 12 mox which I kinda wanted. I picked that one and they sent me a series 8 mox...
I am not out to just sit and complain at everything but seriously this is pretty bad, especially since I am paying $30+ for almost each of these figures and in this list i've had to rebuy them all to fix the original issues. At this rate I am expecting more errors to continue and now expecting to buy at least 2-3 of the same figure just to get one "acceptable" one.
Has anyone else experienced problems with AEW figures? or am I just cursed?

Hate to be that guy but I have been collecting AEW since the first drop and I have never had any quality control issues at all.

I've got issues on some figures but my complaints are more with cartoon and balloon heads and skin tones varying on the same characters

My issues have been with loose knee and elbow joints, but those have been remedied (except those new ROH Bucks have the problem too).

For all the other faults, I haven't had any major quality issues outside of the issue with Cody's boot on the Supreme figures.

I have most of the AEW line, missing some series 12-14 unrivaled and 6-7 unmatched. Some exclusives and chases. I’ve had to rebuy a Will Hobbs, a Lance Archer, and a Britt Baker (was my fault) Hobbs had a leg that would pop off if you rotated too far and Archer’s head was loose and had a loose piece of plastic inside him like a rattle, and Britt i put the blood and guts shirt on the series 1 unmatched Britt and stained her to hell. The black shirts almost always stain, young bucks, cm punk, Eddie Kingston. And I’m sure I’m forgetting some. Dustin Rhodes ankles are too loose on all his figures.
I would definitely say my biggest peeve is still the staining even though there’s plastic covering the figure. Either invest in higher quality material or give different accessories

Yes, Jazwares has had some bad QC issues. Staining cloth goods, loose elbow joints, too tight shoulder ratchets, loose ankle rotation and poor paint applications. I can agree with your assessmen, but I have also seen more and more issues with Mattel QC as well. I think these companies are pumping out more and more products, so the issues seem to be more along the lines of too much too quick.

Just bought another Series 12 mox and same issue...I'm not even surprised at how garbage their product is getting.

The left bicep on my ROH Vault Danielson is incredibly loose, which is annoying. There's a very annoying black scuff on his chest too. Frustrating, but what can you do?

I got a Saraya from eBay that was pretty much retail plus shipping. On taking her coat off the paint started to flake off in huge chunks. Contacted Jazwares just for the heck of it so I'll see what they say. Luck was on my side today as I found one at a WM out on a run. Got her home, say issue. Any flexing of the coat will cause cracking and flaking. I have just a crack down the back on this one so I carefully bagged it up and put it in my title belt box where I know it won't get crushed or jostled too much. For wrestling toys that's not good. I can stomach the loose joints and to some degree the staining as I do feel the soft goods are good quality garments, but an issue like with Saraya here for me is just too far.

It’s mainly been staining issues for me with them. But both Sammy figures had his uppers arms on the wrong shoulders and backwards. And the Supreme Cody’s boots snapped off out of the box on two seperate figures.

I mentioned in another thread that the first Garcia I found at Target came with the ROH tag belt, but found one with the regular Pure belt tonight.
The one glaring thing I've noticed is that every Sting supreme I've seen in the wild, the paint on the Sting mask is way, way off center.

I think the biggest problem for me is the distribution. Staining shouldn't be happening but it seems like trying to actually meet demand would be something fixed far easier than having to go back to the drawing board on the soft goods (although they definitely DO need to, I just opened my Mox vs. MJF and both arms were horrible stained even with sleeves on). If we do get new waves in it's one set per store usually. That's it. If I start seeing signs in my area I hunt almost daily. Targets near me for some reason only will put out one figure at a time so it's a daily hunt. I guess they know this is it and it has to last. I think my Saraya issue will be endemic on all samples. I noticed the first one mailed to me was pretty cooked from being in a hot mail truck (same for the store one too I guess getting to the store initially, CA is scorching this time of year). I wonder if it caused excessive flexing of the plastic coat or maybe released chemicals in the plastic that caused the paint to lift and flake off. Can't say, but it is what it is, but it is frustrating. I'm sure more Saraya's will come or maybe a cloth aftermarket solution will pop up.

I've vented about staining in other threads. That is my biggest beef with AEW figs. I've had figs with broken wrist pegs twice; customer service gave me the three lousy replacement options. There was an Unrivaled 15 Jericho with its eyes and mouth printed on the side of its head rather than the center at my local Target. Sat on the shelf for awhile until some poor bloke bought it.

In a recent podcast, Jeremy said something to the effect of scaling back production by like 10% to increase the value of the figures. Basically, he would like to scale back to make the figs rare and more of a collector"s item. Geez...
