With all the members on here (new and veteran) and the love we all have for the WWE design team. Let's show them how much we appreciate them. On this thread; express the positive things you liked about WWE figures (events, appearance, changes, releases, updated molds, accessories) that Mattel has released for the WWE Universe. Steve and Bill and the whole Mattel team has been amazing over the years to us fans, responding to our questions or critiques too.
So what have you appreciated from WWE Mattel?

Overall the line (and the figures) just keep improving; Every time I get a new figure, I feel like "this is one of my NEW FAVORITES"..... if I have to actually pick my favorites, it's very difficult because I love them all! Just this year, I've added Hulkamaniac Jimmy Hart, Paul Bearer, Ultimate Roddy Piper, Ultimate Eric Bischoff, the Hulk Hogan 3-pack, Captain Lou Albano, and MNW Scott Hall, to my "favorites" - and it's only the end of April! Here are just a few of my "favorites" - but the list keeps changing as Mattel releases new, great stuff!

Mattel has made the best wrestling action figures of all time the amount of detail and accuracy is amazing. Most of the head scans look like they literally shrunk the wrestler down to size

They came through for me when they signed and produced figures of Ken Shamrock. That’s all I wanted and I got it. I’ll always appreciate this from Mattel.

the 1st time in the line are the best imo
I love the scale and glad I did not go full on with jakks or any other brand before, it was the Pink and Black attack RSC exclusive Hitman that made me decide I was gonna full on collect it.
no doubt when they do non-WWE dudes is the coolest also, it is keeping WCW/ECW memory going.
but of course I speak of ELITES only as Ultimate Edition is out of scale

Their first two entrance stages are far and away better than any entrance stages Jakks made. The New Gen arch is the best wrestling toy entrance ever made. We’ve got the best announce tables ever made and we got them with the scratch logo, the modern logo, two different Wrestlemanias, Smackdown, and NXT. They gave us gorgeous office chairs for those announce tables. Those K-Mart playsets were dynamite.

Made the greatest action figures I’ve ever seen and I collect tons.
Thanks for getting more legends every year, being interactive and cool to post on here.
Love Mattel.

Thank you for saving me a lot of money because your international distribution is so poor, it costs far too much to purchase from the US. Add on the exclusivity of lines like Legends that people in the US end up getting on clearance, meanwhile it costs about double full retail price to buy these from someone who imports or via Amazon.

Without mattel i wouldnt have started collecting again. The 80s nostalgia came back to me with the superstars and then the retros. Now i am catching up on the legends and keeping up with the cc and mnw. Mattel is doing a great job pumping out new figures. What a time to be alive. Thanks for all you are doing steve and team. Mattel and target stores are a winning combination. Keep that formula and we will all be collecting series 1000 soon. Keep up the good work.

This is nice to see. Since ive been back for the most part ive seen a lot of positivity on this board. Everyone loves to say "never change wfigs" but in all honesty i feel like this place has got a lot better. Minus 1 or two bad apples, even if they are on their best behaviour right now lmao To benefit mattel, ill say im really happy that they started making changes to the line with swappable heads, heads with unique expressions, swappable arms, hands etc. Swappable boots would be great in the future too. Looking forward to see what other legends hit the market next year

Thank you for the Coliseum Collection! I haven’t been this excited to buy toys since the LJN’s as a kid. A perfect homage collection!
And, of course, thank you, Steve, for your activity with the fan-base here. It is great to see you truly care and are as passionate as many of us are.

Really digging how deep the roster is now. There are several deep cut characters that I never in my wildest dreams thought we would have in our collections.

I appreciate the constant attempts to innovate. From creating the Ultimate line, to integrating butterfly joints and double jointed elbows, to the recent changes to the Basic line, there's a conscious effort to moving forward. And the design work has been top notch the last few years.
Steve especially has been super engaged with the community, and it's very evident that true fans with deep knowledge of wrestling work on the line.
To be a decade+ in and going strong is amazing, regardless of line, brand, or time period. They deserve a huge shout out for the body of work that has been delivered.

People will always nitpick and it is atleast partially inherent to the hobby, but there can be no doubt that, overall, the Mattel WWE line is the greatest wrestling figure line of all time. I started collecting in the BCA 90s days and always kept up to varying degrees and the quality and variety weve gotten over the years from Mattel just beats em all. HBK is my clear favorite wrestler, so I think the Ultimate Edition HBK Amazon exclusive is probably the most complete and well executed HBK figure ever made. The deco, articulation and accessories push it over the top. Plus, HBK sculpts are def hit or miss and I think the sculpts w/ this figure are easily the best HBK sculpts ever (particularly for the era represented). Keep kickin tail, Mattel!
