He’s Hulk Hogan you don’t have to do anything he’ll always sell. I have never seen him pegwarm or even come close to pegwarming. The caped legends figure from l21 and the superstars figures with the red or blue pants pegwarm hard around here. There’s one or two of the Legends Hogan at each of my Targets, but I wouldn’t consider that pegwarming because the next wave hasn’t hit yet. And I still see Iron Sheik and the regular Andre at stores also. As for Superstars I hate to say it but after Rock Piper has the most still on my area Walmarts pegs. And then Earthquake and Captain Lou are the ones still around here.

Keep making new sculpts and he’ll keep selling.
2002-2003 desperately need a new sculpt for this era. The ones they keep using look nothing like he did in that era.
We need
Crazy face flexing puffed out cheeks (as he’s hulking up) mid match wet hair without a mustache (wcw) with shorter hair (1990) some sculpts with molded bandannas. And of course more regular sculpts to go with every year of his career.
Still need 85/86 white trunks, boots, white knee pads
Some cool special attires
85 Halloween snme Hulk Machine (with molded headband over the mask) 87 Slammys Pirate old man hogan mania 37
Gotta give credit where credit is due, Mattel has done a great job with Hogan the last two years.

I definitely want a suburban commando. If they can, they should try to make the packaging look like a space ship. Add taker for s and gs too.

i really think we're AT that point right now.
mattel did a great job in pushing out all of the essential hogan looks these past few years. A+; we've gotten 80s hogans, 90s hogans, 2000s hogans and 2010s hogans. elites/ basics/ ultimates.
the newest legends line hogan figure is from the Real American Video.
not a noteworthy match, not a debut look, not a defining moment---just from the music video.
maybe i missed it but i didnt see a crowd of people clamoring for "Hulk Hogan Elite from the Real American Video".
its neat, its cool, its novelty, but this is the point i feel like we can plant the flag and say mattel is just doing fanservice to Hogans contract at this point because everything important, everything that we asked for has been brought to the table. 80's real american hogan [x] 90's hulkamania [x] wrestlemania era [x] wcw era [x] nWo[x] hulk STILL rules [x] GM Hulkster [x] all thats left for mattel to do is introduce a NEW skintone or a NEW body sculpt or NEW articulation feature so they can re-release all of his figures all over again.
and as to the question of how to keep him relevant/not over saturated? i mean.......limit the releases? i dont think every spoonful of wwe figures need a heaping helping of hulkster in every bite.. sprinkle a little hogan here and there-his presence was very much felt across all lines these past few years so mattel really just need to play it safe and play it smart and just strategically start releasing hogan figures accordingly.

Just saw a YouTube video of Hogan vs. Kamala from MSG circa 1987 and Hulk came out wearing face paint similar to Kamala's tribal design...Now that would be a very unique look for Hogan!

I think you guys are forgetting that Bill had said last year that the upcoming year (2023 thru 2024) will see a lot of Hulk Hogan because it's the anniversary of Hulkamania. There are legends waves dedicated to his feuds.
This won't continue beyond and we'll start getting occasional Hogan figures again.
That being said, where tf is my '02 Undisputed Champion Hogan with a proper face sculpt. An Ultimate, if you will.

I get the "oversaturation" this year being the 40 year anny of Hulkmania. After this year, 1-2 a year would help a lot. As far as attires or versions,, some movie looks, Pastamania, and FUNB stand out.

I don't know if you're serious or not, but a Suburban Commando two-pack with Undertaker would be fine by me.

When I opened this thread I was disappointed it wasn’t the man I knew some would be. I almost mentioned it in the first post. And I did reference him.

Didn’t they try to do Pastamania Hulk for the Nitro Stage crowdfund and there was a rights issue?!
I could be making that up. The battle of the Nitro Stage crowdfund was so chaotic, I need a Ken Burns documentary on it.
