Are the back-order single Punk’s still due for November?

So disappointing they messed up the bio reads for Punk and La Knight whoever approved the Bio isn't a wrestling fan

Been waiting on this figure for 13 years, ecstatic to finally have it. It's probably already been mentioned, but the DRUG FREE tattoos are still on the fist hands, just not the open ones for some reason. So disappointing they messed up the bio reads for Punk and La Knight whoever approved the Bio isn't a wrestling fan I've noticed the copywriting is piss poor in general, beyond just factual inaccuracies. It's one thing to keep it simple for a broad audience, but it's woefully elementary in a bad way.

Absolutely no one who knew of having a chance to pre-order this should be buying a figure with a 400% markup and fueling the person who did that to continue to do it.

RSC should have known better and tried to help wrestling fans more and put some kind of limit of 2-3 per customer and not let them re-order. People on ebay/mercari are going to probably make a bunch of money reselling the punk dm figure. I back-ordered 2 full sets and i am literally going to probably have to give away the other 3 figures because most people do not care about them as compared to punk.

I'm not sure you understand what a word salad is, but let me restate it differently for you- anyone who can pre-order (or even back-order), should do so. Period. What you think of the other 3 figures is irrelevant in this case. There are plenty of people who have purchased and will enjoy them. I can say with clear confidence that no one, at any time, should be paying for a figure with a 400% markup when they had months to get in on the pre-order and the back-order. It's a conscious choice to line the pockets of scalpers. For anyone who doesn't want to do that and perhaps missed out because they were either unable to afford the figure at the time or in a coma, I'd suggest joining the community here and trying to negotiate a simple trade with those who have extras (of which I can only assume even based on this thread that there are more than a few). I've known numerous people who are more than willing to trade fairly in situations like this.

It is a crazy crapshoot with these figures when some sell out immediately and never replenish, and some get made way more times it seems. My first experience was B&W Scott Hall and Rated R Edge. Sure there was a demand, but it seemed like these were short run and never were replenished to the degree say the Rock or HBK from the similar time. Granted I’m fortunate to preorder whatever I feel like I can’t live without, but stinks for people that have to wait til payday or whatever.

I have been going through some personal problems in my life so missed out of the punk figures while i resolved those things. But you can not tell me when people are ordering 6-12 of the dm punk figure and little to none of the other 3 in the set that rsc does not know what they are planning on doing. Also people buying the figure on secondary markets because they do not want to wait months or get there order cancelled. If people on here will trade or sell there extra dm punk figure i am all for it, but how many will actually do it ? I am really unsure that many will. So going back to my original point, why did rsc not put an order limit on the figure ? The people in charge had to at least have an idea that punk figure would sell really well. They could also try to get mattel to make more of the dm punk figure since it has sold so well, along with pretty much every cm punk figure made. I would love to email whoever is in charge of that at ringside, but i would need an email or something similar to communicate with them respectfully.

Punks attire is listed as 3 days before MITB 2011, should be 3 weeks. La Knight is a little more forgivable it list pre show battle royal but it was actually during the actual show

I'm not out here trying to make you feel bad at all and I am of course sorry for your personal issues. I get it, it can be a frustrating hobby in certain situations, and real life can get in the way. And Cuyler is right that things sell out fast...there are stock numbers for both pre-order and back-order and obviously Punk is an extremely popular character...it is what it is. I can't speak to the limits per customer on figures...it has happened in the past, it also hasn't. Unfortunately it wasn't the case with this figure in particular. There isn't anyone you can discuss this with directly but I can assure your feedback isn't unnoticed here. Thankfully we have more opportunities in the future now that things like the Ringside From the Vault Series exist to consider re-releases/popular releases. There's no guarantee for any of it, at any time, and it's important to consider this when deciding whether you want a Pipebomb Punk more vs. someone else, an Ultimate vs. an Elite, etc. I would also keep in mind that single figure exclusives (MitB Punk for example) are going to be more regularly available than figures in sets, which work differently very often. There is no consistency to it that I can explain for you. When you have an opportunity to either purchase an entire set at standard price or individuals at standard price, you should shoot your shot. I have always preached targeted control and patience with everyone that I talk to here, so picking and choosing based on what you as a person like best and not worrying too much about needing everything is something I strongly suggest. Pre-orders are very, very rarely canceled, especially for our exclusives, and lack of patience (not wanting to wait for back order) is IMO a bad approach in comparison to just waiting and paying a standard price. You are literally only lining the pockets of scalpers doing that, and I want everyone and anyone to avoid that because it's truly unnecessary unless something has been out for an extended period of time and it's your only option for a holy grail figure or something. You're better off considering a full set purchase and keeping the other 3 for a later time, when people will undoubtedly be looking for this at higher price points or with higher trade value. It isn't the case right now, perhaps...but it will happen. It always does. As far as who will trade or who won't, I can't speak for others, but I guess it's whatever you're willing to put up. I am not going to give trading advice other than don't give up more than you want to and don't let people rip you off. It's pretty simple, although not ideal. I'm sorry you're feeling this way about it but just know that no one is out here trying to mess with you or make this frustrating.

I’m going to guess the Vault Punk is in the same boat where you can only get it now if you buy the whole set.

I'm not worried - we had all this with Cody when he came back. His figures sold out and scalpers stockpiled - lo and behold, 2 years on and his figures (most of them anyway) are readily obtainable for retail or a minor markup.
Pipebomb Punk is one of his most iconic looks, so I am certain it will be re-released in the not-too-distant future. And that, hopefully, will be when I get my hands on one.
