There were so many good questions asked in the thread, and none of those were used. Specifically things only Bill could answer. It’s really frustrating. They aren’t gonna ask Bill the questions he either can’t answer, or are gonna upset him. Nor should they. That’s ridiculous we have to worry about upsetting Bill. We aren’t being disrespectful, we just have genuine questions that only he can answer. Even Steve comes here and says, “you’ll have to ask Bill about that one.”

You don’t wanna upset the person giving you their time and energy. Similar to the post-show press conferences with WWE, etc.

Thank you for the summary! Much appreciated! When will we see more NXT talent in the elite line? It’s going to continue. Pushing for 1 NXT talent in each elite wave. Will we see bigger guys made in Ultimate form? Yes. Dusty, Vader Yokozuna etc. already being made. What’s the status of Macho Man? No update. Can we see more box sets like the LWO? If talent is available and it makes sense, yes. Current status on women’s wrestling figures? Steve said we’re probably getting the most WWE women wrestling figures of all time right now. Some waves will have more than one female, some won’t. Just depends. What’s the holdup with the Steiner brothers? No holdup, Bill said trying to find the right time to put them in the line. Also trying to create the right parts for those figures so they’re accurate. Assures us they will be amazing once they are ready. Will we get more Ultimate scale rings? Steve hinted that the trend has been one new Ultimate ring a year. Can you talk a little bit more about the Vault line? It’s an exciting line that will continue, same amount of figures per year. Maybe after series 2 they will be more spaced out. Any chance for accessory packs for the Ultimate rings? Still not enough Ultimate rings out to justify accessories for these rings. Will Pharaoh (Cody’s dog) be getting his own figure? Bill said a lot more likely now than a month ago.

Tom has asked design specific questions in the past like with Hogan’s size and tan.

Those Q&As are a massive waste of time. Why do they even field the questions that won't be answered? Why do you all continue to ask the same pointless questions that can't be answered? Etc etc

Etc etc It’s to further promote the upcoming figures for the year. Notice how the questions selected normally reflect what’s shown in the case. We ask these questions days before anything is revealed. These questions are being asked on Thursday afternoon/evening. Even on Friday, more were put into the case that Tom didn’t mention… because they weren’t there on Thursday.

I’m not sure why Tom was being so snarky at the women’s figure question. I think generally Mattel does a great job getting out women’s figures but at the same time the question was totally fair considering there were 10 women shown out of hundreds of other figures.
They were mostly women we have already seen in the line before as well.

Similar to the post-show press conferences with WWE, etc. Everyone should be able to take critique, especially if it’s a product that we’re paying for. There’s a way to do it in which it can be asked in a polite and respectful manner. That’s what growth and improvement is about. For example, color and inaccurate body part choices are some of the things we ask about all the time. A lot of the critique and requests here have actually lead to some good things like UE Kane’s elbow fix, Hogan’s tan/ wider torso and most recently jeans DDP 😉

Etc etc The Q&A I think is for the more casual followers of RSC and wrestling figs and not necessarily the hardcore collectors. I think Tom does a good job trying to find questions that’ll please both audiences. That being said, it’s very hard to please most on these boards.

It just doesn't make sense to make fun of yall for asking "when are we getting..." when they continue to ask the question. Just stop fielding it RSC

RSCTom were there not any decent design specific questions? I know you don’t want to come across as antagonistic in these things but there very limited opportunities to get answers from Bill in regards to part choices. Every time anyone brings it up here Steve says that’s a question for Bill. I’m sure there’s a way to bring it up in a nice professional manner. As you referenced, typically I try to get some design questions in. I had a couple of good ones...both vetoed. Out of my hands. It is not, never has been, and never will be something I'm ignoring. Them's just the breaks sometimes.

They were mostly women we have already seen in the line before as well. Snarky isn't the right word but fine, even if that was the case, the women's ratio/issue has been explained now multiple times. Not only are women's figure collectors spamming all our social pages as if that's going to somehow improve a situation that simply can't be improved without unquestionable organic growth (see: Rhea Ripley), they're now in my dm's calling me a 'f*** sexist pig'. I know it's not everyone, but it's still exhausting, embarrassing (as both a wrestling fan AND a toy collector) and just not something I need in my life. Needless to say with the above I feel no obligation to do anything other than roll my eyes and get annoyed with the extensive repetition and the fact that there is 0 answer that can be given that will please everyone, and the funny thing is it has nothing to do with the fact that it's about women. I feel the same type of annoyance with the Steiner questions which have also been explained and answered multiple times. To come to the forums and talk things to death, even with unnecessary attitudes is fine, but when it bleeds out into situations where I can't avoid it like my social media account or the RSC accounts, I'm not going to put up with it. Even with all that, I gave it the pedestal to even be discussed by using one of the women's questions so it's probably best that people interested in that topic take what they can get at the moment instead of irritating the issue further.

Etc etc You know what to expect, you're welcome to skip it, and as I've said multiple times this is something that I've tried to come up with a decent replacement for but the fact that it's been grandfathered in is a gift (I know what to expect at work) and a curse (it's almost impossible to come up with something fresh here, but I'm trying). As I've also said multiple times I think these happen too frequently and I have tried to make them more infrequent but it has not come to fruition and that is not something I can control.

Thanks for everything that you do Tom, you're my second favorite source behind my buddy at the toy shop!!!

If there’s any issue with Q&A it’s that there are still people who post nothing but questions like “Will we see this specific wrestler in the line?” knowing full well they won’t give an answer on a specific wrestler if there’s nothing to show visually. So people waste their opportunity instead of asking something more vague that can be answered like, “Will we see more ECW representation?” “Will we see the late WCW tag titles again?” But at the same time if I ask a long list of questions I have like “Are you allowed to make modern interviewers and commentators?” “Will Mattel ever make scale barricades?” “Can you introduce set pieces to the Wrekkin’ line?” that they can give definitive answers to, it’s unfair if 5 of my questions get asked and none of someone else’s questions get asked. But then too many people are determined to waste their chance to ask, “Can you make Raven?” They’ll make him if they can and you know that!

I think you do a Phenomenonal job as an interviewer. You have a great personality, and ask good questions. People who have been on this forum know that Bill and Steve can't answer every question and can't confirm any answer. Heck even when my question doesn't get asked; is part of the process. Just like other people who didn't get to hear their question asked. The process of getting different questions asked that will get an answer and that isn't repeated from the previous year or every year. People have to understand, that we need to appreciate the little thing we get in return from these guys and yourself. An "answer" or "hint" is better than nothing. So thank to You, Bill and Steve for entertaining us fans. Elite Squad!!

Thanks for everything that you do Tom, you're my second favorite source behind my buddy at the toy shop!!! It's appreciated, you have no obligation to apologize to me, I am not bothered by you as an individual or even the discussion in general...it's more when something gets excessive to the point of it being spammed and repeated, with new threads created, even though answers have been given. When folks try to sway the universe (at least that's the feeling I get from it) by just anxiously repeating something over and over again until it magically creates an answer they want, that's when I start to just get tired of it.

Especially with people who aren't on the boards, questions are almost always 'when will we get so-and-so' and even beyond that, almost every question can be vetoed at any time, even if it's just a normal one that seems like it could work. Technical questions about part choices or skin tones also just can be hit or miss. I wish I had better answers for everyone.
