Which one of the Ultimate Edition line has the figure so perfect, that it does not need to be redone, the perfect image of the character they were going for. I left out many names so please feel free to chime in with any I missed.

Ultimate Edition 13 Hulk Hogan (WrestleMania I). I don’t need another Hogan figure after this one. I’m not a Hogan guy, so I only wanted 1 in my collection (I have the CC one too), and this checks all the boxes for me.

The WM 1 Hogan to me is perfect. I’m mostly a MOC collector, golden era, but him and black strap Ultimate Edition Andre (who I would also list as the “definitive version”) are the only 2 loose Mattel wrestling figures I currently have and proudly display (in the Mania ring carts).

Hollywood, Kane, 95 HBK, WM1 Hulk, and other. My other is Piper or Jake. oh, right. From the Coliseum Collection, I would say Piper, Roberts, Steele, Rude, Funk, Neidhart, Slaughter and, to me, even Bret Hart, are the “definitive” versions too.

The only thing stopping me from saying Piper is the kilt. I know it’s the LJN kilt, but definitive for me would have been the red/blue kilt or his iconic red/white one.

Hollywood Hogan is definitive. A few changes to soft goods or accessories but the overall look is what I consider my mind's eye version of Hollywood (5 o clock shadow, lighting tights, etc.)
Fan Takeover HBK is my main New Gen display Shawn Michaels. Again, my mind's eye pictures HBK in red and white, those colors pop. SS 97 Shawn works for Attitude Era
CC Piper, with some swappage on shirts/kilts, is basically a definitive 80s heel Hot Rod. If you only had one in the collection, he's a solid pick.
Kane is basically the definitive version. His most iconic look, could use a gloss finish on the boots but otherwise perfection.
I have SS 90 Taker as my new display Taker for his early run/rookie years. I can't think of any flaws with him.
I'll add to it Target Legends Rock is the definitive Attitude Era version of the Great One. Better in almost every way to the Amazon version.

Sad that the face that runs the place, the phenomenal one himself is relegated to "other", especially when it's such a great figure!

I will say the CC Piper every time I see one of these post. It is by far the best wwe figure Mattel has made.

Kane (Main release). Even with the technical issues, it's God tier.
CC Piper, if you can swap the kilt for the red and white one, it's the perfect Piper
Ronda Rousey. Not a big fan of hers but it's the only figure of hers anyone should ever need.
The Fiend (first one). That's the only Fiend anyone really needs (unless you are making a whole display of him) and if you add the lantern accessory from the Elite, there is your display piece
George The Animal Steele. Only one you will ever need. It's a simple figure and to the point, but effective.
(For me personally) Triple H (First Release): when I think of Triple H as a wrestler, that's what I think of. The Game. That there. The headsculpts aren't the best but that's pretty much thee "the game" figure for me.

The definitive Hogan in my opinion would be 1991 Python Power look and Randy Savage would be Wrestlemania 4 with Robe. Kane, Hollywood, Purple Razor and Diesel for me are definitive.
