I went to one of my local Walmarts this morning and I'm not exaggerating with this statement, they did not have a single wrestling figure on the pegs. I just know this is going to be a frustrating search, and even more so because I'm doing it simply for a head swap to fix and poor decision Mattel made with their Ultimate Edition figure.

I’m telling you. For whatever reason, street clothes figures don’t sell. As far back as 1998 you could always find street clothes versions of wrestlers way easier than the figures in wrestling gear. Including Stone Cold when it was impossible to find him in wrestling gear in ‘98.
When Amazon and Mattel did Best of the Attitude Era and Austin, Rock, and Triple H were all in street clothes, those figures were in stock for ages. The Ruthless Aggression figures, the only ones I saw regularly were Austin, blue jeans Taker, and Hollywood Rock. Basics of wrestlers in street clothes always rot away.
I fully expect the only figure to fly in MNW Series 1 is Undertaker.

Bisch was also 1/case alongside SCSA and Undertaker who split the remaining 5 figures.

Update: went back to one of my Walmarts for the 3rd time this weekend and got the last Scott Hall. I'm done with this shipper. Great hunting weekend.

Found the shipper in the aisle this morning in Aberdeen, Md...untouched and not opened yet. Asked an employee to cut the strap for me and open it up for me. Got my paul bearer and Monday night wars set. Great morning!

Most of the figures you mentioned never made it to 60% of the stores across the USA. Had they had a proper release much like target, your store wouldn't have any warming the shelves, instead, yours and other got loads of those figures and most of us had to pay scalpers to procure them.

I’ve lived in 3 different states the last decade and I’ve observed this in every city I’ve been to or lived in and I used to travel store to store in a 100 mile radius before the pandemic. And I’m even taking into account online retailers. In my observations of Jakks and Mattel, there is far greater interest in wrestling attires than street clothes. And my theory is that if you only have room for one or your parents are only going to buy you one, you’re probably going to choose wrestling gear. The main exception seems to be figures of non-wrestling personnel like announcers and stuff. Those seem to be snapped up pretty quick.

Nonetheless, there are stores that get more than others, and there's stores that don't get any period. It's a small sample size that seems to fit you data, and that may be true, but I think if the figures were spread out more. True, I'll always choose wrestling gear, but I also would get those other ones if given the chance.

Oof someone on facebook showed their shipper, 8 Hogans and nothing else. Yikes.
Mattel? Steve? Are we not allowed to collect the baf set to complete it? This is Walmart purgatory is it not? 1 store receiving only 1 of the figure of the set times 8?
I can't even imagine throwing chases into the mix ugh....this ain't looking good for the masses going forward.

So…no shipper at my home Walmart…but there was a stabbing there this morning. There is more of a chance of me being involved in a violent crime at my lovely Walmart than there is of finding the figures I want. I’m glad they switched the Classified Retro Card Duke, Scarlett, and Recondo to fan channel exclusives instead of just Walmart exclusives.
