Hof doesnt automatically mean legends deal but its a good sign that a legends deal can now be in place.
I think it would be really cool if they made a c.c set with andre in his blue singlet and haku in his ljn attire for colossal connection.

No. But I think people tend to assume that a HOF induction means that there's some kind of relationship there, which has been a hit or miss assumption over the years. That said re: Haku, the speculation is also coming from the fact that his son Tara Tonga recently signed with WWE. Yeah. Didn't think induction = Legends deal. Unfortunately no … I learned that back in 2017 when the R&R Express were inducted … I immediately thought we were finally going to get Elite figures of them but those hopes were crushed pretty quickly … matter of fact I believe all they got merchandise wise was a Shop Zone exclusive shirt that sold out extremely fast & was never restocked

Lesson learned years ago.

Does WWE Hall of Fame inductions specifically indicate Legends deals with Mattel? Not for all of them, but it certainly helps grease the wheels. We have had a number of people get figures within a year or so of getting into the HOF over the years.

We have had a number of people get figures within a year or so of getting into the HOF over the years. Just seems like just as many (if not more) haven’t seen figures made after being inducted. A lot of inductees over the years already had figures made. Jushin Liger, Ivory, Jeff Jarrett, Hillbilly Jim, RNR Express, Jacqueline, Stan Hansen, etc. Now, no idea if any of those names were maybe under a Legends deal and just didn’t make it into the line. Additionally, if those names are still signed to deals… or if they’ve expired over the years.

I’m guessing voiding the possible contract he may (or may not) have had with Mattel.

Mattel can’t make a figure without them having a contract, so apparently the man had a contract. But I guess using yours/his logic, Mattel jumped the gun on Hogan, Macho Man, Koko B Ware etc .

I mean obviously he signed a contract, Mattel was givin the green light and jumped on the figure. It’s not Mattel’s fault Jarret was let go that soon, if he wants to call that jumping the gun then I mean more power to him. But if Mattel would have waited and Jarret went on a podcast claiming he signed a contract but Mattel didn’t jump right in to get a figure out, you and everybody else would be in here to this day “if Mattel would have jumped the gun they would have got a Jarrett figure out before he was let go.” It’s literally lose lose

He said it. Not me. I’ve already stated my assumption of what happened. Jarrett signed with AEW in November of 2022, voiding the contract with WWE/Mattel… or it expired beforehand and he didn’t re-sign. The render was shown on July of 2022. No idea of the length of the deal or whatever.

They showed a render of Jeff Jarrett so that would have put him under a deal. What happened before during or after doesn’t matter. I was just replying to your original comment about people being inducted into the HOF and not getting figures. Jarrett was under a contact and then wasn’t, doesn’t matter why but at some point and time he was. So I’m just saying he shouldn’t have been listed 🤷🏼♂️

Thanks though.
