I JUST saw that! I unfortunately missed it during the initial pre-order (I have no idea HOW lol), but I was able to get it when RSC offered it for $70. Now it's $100! Glad I got it when I did. As I was shopping around, I also saw that the RSC Defining Moments 4-pack was in-stock again. As I missed that set during the Black Friday/Holiday sales, I quickly added that & the new UE Askua to my cart and crossed those off my list. I feel like I'm largely caught up again. For now!

Since they got more in doesn't that mean the figure failed like the Ali figure? Aren't those MC figures supposed to be really limited? I could understand overstock a feel months after it's initial release but it's been awhile hasn't it?

More likely RSC ordered an allotment when the preorders went up and either had a gentlemen’s agreement with Mattel (or maybe even an official one) that they wouldn’t put them up for a set amount of time.

Technically a MTO can't fail as it's only made as much as ordered by the amount of people, plus more to accommodate damages. These could be extras that Mattel still had to cover damages and never needed to be sent out, and gave them to RS at a discount, or RS purposely held on to these until now to get more cash. I'm leaning towards the former, but can't be surprised about the latter in this here 2024.

Honestly, I want to give RSC the benefit of the doubt on things, but the way that Ringside handles things like chase figures, rare figures, figure preorders, and just figures that are highly anticipated right now... I'm running out of passes to hand out. (I say as I'm fully expecting to drop another thirty dollars on a Maxxine Dupri basic in the near future so who is the real fool on this one...)
