So Taker himself has said Vince was the one who didn’t want the match? So why are you guys saying that it Taker who didn’t want it? Because Sting said Taker refused to do it and that’s why he wrestled Triple H in an interview. Pretty sure it was said in the documentary they did with Sting. But if not in that documentary he said it in something they aired on the WWE Network. I wouldn't be surprised if many higher ups didn't want the match to happen...for whatever reason lol.

Sting himself said a few years ago that Taker didn't want to work with him. I think he said it on some podcast. Apparently the match was pitched and Taker turned it down. I don’t know I just found Taker to be a hypocrite. Because Jericho tells a story where he was pissed off because they wanted him to wrestle Fandango at WM and he didn’t want to do it and when he talked to Undertaker about it Taker basically said to him shut up and do it because it’s his job and his boss who is paying him told him to do it. So Jericho did it, yet it seems that Taker didn’t take his own advise. If what Sting was told is true I just found that pretty crappy on Taker’s part. They lost out on an epic moment which would live on forever & a ton of money ffs...one of biggest WTF moments in history. What a fumble.

Coming across WM 31. Stings man. Sting vs Wyatt not something I've thought of until just now. Old news apparently, but would have been better than the Deadman. Seriously, this is ticking me off right now. Sting vs Wyatt or Sting vs Taker was needed for WM31 It lands near the bottom of my list for a reason. 3 skipped segs during a watchthru is hard to ignore lol.
