Punk is probably in the top five of all time. He sold out a building based on the idea of him showing up. Punks fan base and star power is insane tbh

Punk!
For years people didn't think he'd return ever to wrestling again. Edge was a giving for months that he would go to AEW from WWE.

I loved both but Punk’s felt like you were seeing something you weren’t supposed to. Idk how to really describe it other than that

Punk will always be the best & biggest thing in regards to AEW That's definitely one person opinion lol Lol you sure? Don't get me wrong, I love AEW but Punk was easily their biggest star. TV ratings, PPV buys, attendance at shows, merchandise, social media views, youtube views... all of it went downhill since Punk got fired. There are many great things about AEW, but Punk was just something else over there and he had the potential to do much more as well.

Punk will always be the best & biggest thing in regards to AEW Best is obviously subjective, biggest I think there's a pretty fair argument to be made for both Mox and Cody in this regard as well. All three have historically moved the dial very well for AEW. It took a huge hit when Cody left, far bigger than many want to acknowledge but it did. In a way it feels like they've rebounded from Punk quicker than they did for Cody. I definitely wouldn't say you're wrong to say Punk is the biggest thing to happen for them, but I wouldn't say you're wrong if you said Mox or Cody either.

There are many great options at AEW tbh... legends, veterans, young stars, future stars etc. I'd say Punk was the best thing for me, but it's just my opinion anyways. Overall AEW will always be a great thing.

Punk for sure. I hate how everything unfolded after DON 2022 and it soured me on him since. But come one. 7 years away from the business, in Chicago at the United Center and he gave out ice cream afterwards.
I’ll say this though about Copeland: when it’s all said and done, his run with AEW has the potential of being what I wanted out of CM Punk. A top guy with still some gas in the tank who busts his ass to lift everyone up and leaves the company in a better position than when he walked through the door.
