We all know about the lawsuit, but Jesse has worked with the WWF/E since, so it has no bearing on whether they sign him to a Legends deal some day.

That interview was recent and if Vince don’t want him getting royalties because of that lawsuit, he’s definitely not going to be getting a figure anytime soon. Only way we’re going to get these figures of people with past personal issues with Vince , is if he is completely out of control . And he’s talking about being paid royalties for being on shows. Which he would have to be paid for anything sold with him on it, he’s talking about that’s why Vince hasn’t let him come back for WM bevsyse he doesn’t want him on the show so he doesn’t have to pay him royalties. Behind the scenes work isn’t getting him royalties

Behind the scenes work isn’t getting him royalties He's not saying that Vince doesn't want him to get royalties from a Legends deal. He's saying Vince won't have him onscreen because he will have to pay him if he sells the DVD/Blu-Ray/streaming, which he doesn't have to do for other Legends. It's Vince being cheap and not paying more for something that he doesn't have to do for other wrestlers (and he isn't going to get any extra viewership or sales from Ventura making a camo at WM). It's not a revenge thing. If he signs a Legends deal, Vince makes money off of it and pays the royalty. If he shows up on TV, Vince pays the royalty and doesn't gain anything from it. That's the difference. And he's assuming that is the reason when it could be a million other reasons why Vince didn't care to bring him back for WM 39. Vince also doesn't have control over his company anymore so what was true in the past might not be anymore.

But I heard he doesn’t have full control of WWE anymore, but I’m sure he still has some control with certain things like having a say on legend contracts. Because if that wasn’t the case I would think by now we would have seen a change with it. Since Vince lost full control, we’ve lost more than we’ve gained.

Endeavor would be paying him now, and would likely make a deal to sort it out as well if both parties wanted. Not up to Vince anymore.

I think the merger just went through last month - if there is a change, we probably won't see it in the line until 18-24 months from now. I don't think Vince is in the weeds that much dictating who gets Legends contracts. From what I read, his main focus right now is TV rights.

Jesse Ventura is a top want for me. Need at least one figure of him in his wrestling attire, and a few in his announcer attires. Hopefully with Vince not making all the decisions, Jesse can get signed again. The blue/pink floral tights would be my most wanted look of his, I believe he wore this on the SNME show vs. the Hillbillies. The all-pink tux would be great, too: This one, too:

I want a Jesse fig in wrestling gear and commentator gear, badly. Converted both of my Jakks figs to Mattels, in the meantime. But hopefully we get him officially, someday.

Jesse Ventura is at the top of my list of FTITL, next to Cyndi Lauper. However thinking about all the legalities it would take to sign him, it almost doesn't seem possible. It seems just a step above getting Jimmy Snuka in the line. To the point where I almost accept that the 1985 collection will have to be completed without him ever beeing in it.

He’s a must have fig. Not having Ventura leaves a big gap in our collections.
