It says international orders available at a different date. Not sure what the big fuss is about. Its the price, will it be more expensive for international?

Was there ever an explanation why Andre has removable hands/hand joints? Does one or both versions have alternate hands or something? I'm noticing it on both versions and it's a bit of a turn-off. On the fence on getting the black strap. I really don't like the added articulation and details on some of these, straying too far from what a Hasbro would have looked like just IMO. I suspect this is also part of Zombie's plan long term - give them swappable hands, so the arms/hands can be reused rather than a unique mould for each figure. all of ZST's figures suffer from arms that are out of scale to their body, so rather than "fixing" the issue at source, he's probably looking at ways to cut costs on tooling and reuse body parts where possible. give it another wave and we'll probably start to see a few pieces coming through with reused parts (which is what Hasbro/Mattel have done) whereas G+G is just recycling entire Hasbro designs altogether I don't see the issue with "recycling entire Hasbro designs". Besides the quality control/paint/joints issues, the core of his figure sculpt-wise at least, is very much in the spirit of the Hasbro line. That's what I would think most people that are collecting these figures would want. Sorry, but I don't want ultra detail, extra joints, swappable hands etc. I want to continue the Hasbro line and fill in spots where guys should have had figures and never got any.

I'm very tempted to get the Lawler retro, as it's very Hasbro-like, imo. I've no interest in the Vader retro, but part of me feels like picking it up just because, same with masked Taker. I'm mainly interested in 1991-1995 for retros, with a few exceptions here and there.

I don’t see why international should have to pay $10 more if the special Black Friday pricing is only going to be for North America. If Epic said one of their releases is going to be £10 cheaper for UK than the rest of the world, irrespective of shipping, I’m sure it wouldn’t go down well. Zombie makes great figures but he don’t half like to alienate his potential customers. If Epic Toys had a Boxing Day sale available to just UK folks for one day, I wouldn’t make a very big fuss over it. Would it be preferred for these companies to treat everyone equally? Sure. But paying an additional $10 won’t break most people. No one is forcing anyone to buy the figures.

Why don’t you use a shipping company with US address. Work out about the same cost as zombie usually uses priority shipping, think outside that box.

We agree that it should be the same price but getting worked up over it seems unnecessary at this point. Personally I’m fine with Zombie charging a higher amount after Black Friday (even within the US). It’s a stupid cultural tradition but it is what it is. Besides, it is well established that he doesn’t care about the opinions of an average customer (and even less about an international customer).

I’m not getting worked up, I just don’t agree with charging most of the world 33% more for the same product, I get the idea that it’s a sale, but it doesn’t look good if you exclude the rest of the world and ignore any questions on future price for those countries. I have no problems with the other figures on sale to North America only, because they were the same price when they first went on sale to everyone, he obviously has stock left over, the Andre is always going to have been $30 for anyone who wants it in North America, then probably $40 for the rest of the world, unless I’m wrong of course. I know it’s not a lot, it just doesn’t sit well with me. Dude please calm down. It’s not good for you to get this upset.

Some serious gaslighting going on here, mods. Or some friendly banter. I offered to send him one if he couldn’t get it for the discounted price.

They’ve got their flaws, some more than others, but if you’re interested in that time period and want to have figures in that scale, it’s the best option you have right now. Lawler and company may be locked up with WWE/Mattel for years to come, and your only alternative would be a more expensive custom.

I think for the most part the ones that have more deco look better, think it hides the cheapness look of the sculpts. Cept that Vader, the stance just makes it look too weird.

It’s just too big and boxy. If you can overlook that, the rest of it isn’t bad for the price Mattel charges. I wouldn’t be satisfied with it if I were paying Zombie prices, but for $15-20 each, I’ll take it. Beats not having a Vader at all for my collection.

I don't like the added wrist articulation on the figures but I think I'll get a few Black Strap Andres anyway.
I like the gloss and I like the screaming head sculpt.
If you live in Canada, it's just not worth it to order only one figure from ZST in my opinion.
ZST so far has been a bit of a bittersweet line for the most part because he's SO CLOSE to really making a perfect Hasbro continuation in sculpt and plastic but then with articulation and paint they don't fit at all in my opinion and I collect them as their own separate line.
