That Asuka is absolutely amazing!
Love the Cora attire but something just feels a little off with the face

I appreciate the thoughts and suggestions. I think what some seem to miss is that despite our Q&A being 'vanilla' and Steve having a major presence here, there are definitely people beyond the boards that watch or see this with almost no window into what we have going on or see on a regular basis so it has it's audience, though it may be exhausting for WFigs. But to that point even they are getting repeat questions a lot of times. Something can be nailed down eventually The repeat questions aren't the main issue, it's a side effect. You won't/can't ask tough questions and even if you could they'd just give you the run around with shitty vague answers like they do now with the softball questions. So you end up asking the same questions over and over again because those are the ones you can without offending them and there's no point in us asking anything else because the answers won't matter. The Q&As do more harm than good at this point imo, they just frustrate people further and provide nothing of substance, especially if they can't handle any sort of pressure from the people who pay for their products.

I personally don’t think the Ringside Fest Q&A is fully targeted at the users of this forum anymore. I’m pretty active here so the feedback from forum members is largely accounted for. To Tom’s point, it’s really for those who don’t visit these forums and may not be in the weeds as much as many of you. If you were to guess, what % of fans/collectors out there that arent members of the boards but would watch a Ringside Fest Q&A annually? Purely based on viewing statistics that I can access it's a lot higher than you would think. If literally every single person that's a member of the forum was watching (which we know isn't the case) there are still views far beyond that. So there is an outside audience.

I am also never, ever going to ask any distribution question or controversial dig or anything like that. It's not beneficial for anyone. I understand people's frustrations but that avenue is not the place for that question. Really it's better to pester Wal Mart. But it's not a "Walmart issue" here in Canada for Hasbro exclusive stuff and their Target exclusives are available at most Toys R Us stores here. Now I could see it being a Mattel issue overall in the international market. But maybe the Elite team could help us fans have a different avenue to get this figures like a Mattel Creations? or at the very least they are trying to rectify changing this? All we ask for is a fair shot at exclusives even if we have to wait a little longer and not have to go to EBay to pay the ridic inflated prices. It’s still a retailer issue. Mattel’s not sending product to individual stores. They ship what the retailer ordered to that retailers main distribution hub. And it’s up to the retailers to distribute that inventory to their individual stores. So if your stores aren’t getting it then that’s because corporate doesn’t what it in those stores. My two local WalMarts don’t carry their owe wwe exclusives or UE figures. And it was the same way when Mattel had the DC license. These stores didn’t carry the DCUC, Walmart Exclusives or other DC lines. The only lines they carried were the movie lines. To get them I have/had to go an hour north or an hour south into NJ to find them at Walmart store. I have had department manager at both my stores try and order them in the past but the warehouse declines the orders, because it’s not on their planograms. When you ask why they say corporate doesn’t want it in that store. So if the product isn’t being distributed there it’s because that retailer doesn’t want it in that particular store. And if there’s tags for the product in that store and it’s not there that’s also the retailers fault, because then they clearly didn’t order enough product to meet the demand.

Personally, I just wish Mattel would learn from Hasbro for once in their life and run Creations like Pulse. Allow me to purchase main line figures easily on your site and after enough time allow me to purchase store exclusives in it aswell.

It's not an individual store issue here. They just simply don't carry any new product at all period and haven't for the last few years in the retail stores around me for Elites. I'm used to it so I don't mind buying it off their website. They have listings and have had a small stock available of the first 5 Ruthless Aggression series figures (minus Edge's figure who never even got a listing on the website) and none of the UE's have been listed at all either and probably won't ever be. The Legends figures aren't available online at all on Toys R Us but they can be found at some of the retail stores if you're lucky.

That Asuka looks fantastic, and so does Finn.
One side note is they need to retool the ultimate Cody. Looks like a straight up repaint of his last one. The torso didn’t work and he ended up tall as hell. Should just give him the Rollins torso.

Those extra Balor heads will be useful to everyone who have been begging for generic referees. Just slap one of those on the SS BAF ref body. Doesn’t get anymore generic than that.

mattel ships to walmart
walmart ships to stores
walmart can’t ship to stores if stores don’t order
it’s really not that hard to comprehend that it’s not mattel’s fault if your local walmart sucks at inventory

All I can say about this years showings are that, one one you have the UE Asuka. On the other, you have that all pink basic "Human Shrek" Bret Hart.
You'd think that everything would fall on a scale between them but somehow, the figures all gravitate towards one side or the other. They're either lovely, or they're CURSED.
