Ordered 2 Supreme CM punks on Friday and was told it would arrive yesterday. It was delayed and arrived moment's ago. I opened it and it was none other than Cody.

So I went on the app to contact Walmart about receiving Cody instead of Punk and that I only received 1 and my order said 2 were delivered. After being on hold several times and speaking to 2 different people I ended up getting refunded for the 2 figures and get to keep the Cody for free. They said that they couldn't send a replacement since the CM Punk isn't available anymore. Not sure what that means for the figure, but doesn't sound good

Dude this is not good, all these cody figures getting stocked and returned. They are gonna collect dust until they get clearance out.

I would like to believe that these are simply leftovers from jazwares, since they should not have the rights to keep making cody figures.

Well that is just freaking great. How do you cancel a figure when they should have made a bunch of them before punk got fired ?

They just gonna destroy them at the factory ? No way they are doing that.

I'm kind of hoping since they are just customer service probably at a call center working for Walmart, they don't know all the facts and the figure is just stuck on a boat. Like you mentioned this figure was in the works long before Punk was fired.

While that would make sense because it seems the only thing they can get to shelves consistently is their store exclusives, but it is infinitely funnier if they just started making more Codys instead of Punk lol.

It’s not fishy, Walmart put all three on the same SKU and there was probably a second run of the exclusive Cody when they made more of the regular version (RSC back order shipment)

Walmart has always had crappy online distribution, but at least other companies give their exclusives a specific coding and assortment number. For example, the Hasbro Spiderman cartoon exclusives.

It was a shitshow sure, but mostly because of poor restocking and Walmart cancelling, but those who ordered and got their orders fulfilled, actually got the correct figures(Lizard, Spiderman).

The fact that all Walmarts started getting full cases of Codys, especially nearly a year and a half after it was released and shelves were empty, tells me that perhaps Jazwares canned the Punk shipments, but couldn't contact Walmart in time to take down the figure's listing.

Bleh, who knows. It would save everybody trouble if Jazwares themselves said that the correct item will reach the retailers instead of a vague copy & paste message of "It's being corrected". At this point I'll wait for the Punk Mattel Elite or Ultimate Edition 😂
