Seems like he may be first successful briefcase holder in while. Definitely has Edge/CM Punk vibes. I would prefer him to beat Roman.

I think he’ll beat Seth for it. Priest was a guy I really liked in ROH many years ago when he was Punishment Martinez. It’s cool to see how far he’s come since then. Guy stunk as just another generic babyface on the roster for a while, but he’s come into his own with The Judgement Day.

I think he'll eventually beat Rollins but I don't see WWE knowing what to do with him after that.

Voted Rollins - just seems there is more there.

Part of me thought he may cash in at Payback but then I realized that there is no way they are wasting it at Payback

Let's not forget judgement day was originally just Edge and Priest. Also feud with Bad Bunny was high profile.

At this point, I’m not even sure there’s a definite plan set for him and the briefcase.

Honestly, I don't care. I like Priest alright but I don't see him as a world champion, personally.
Also, he's 40. So whoever was reporting that WWE was hesitant to push LA Knight because of his age is an idiot.

He won't be using it on Reigns IMHO

Rollins is the more likely choice but I’d have him lose. The cash in stuff is completely over done and hasn’t helped get anyone over in years

He’ll win the Rollins title, and then Finn will end up with it.

I hope he’s unsuccessful with his cash in.

I hope he’s unsuccessful with his cash in. Damien Priest just isn’t ready to be “the guy” on either brand. Another reason I feel Logan Paul was the correct choice to win MITB, only to be unsuccessful in cashing in.

He’ll win the Rollins title, and then Finn will end up with it. If AEW wasn't already doing it with Christian, it'd be hilarious for Priest to win but for Finn to act like the champion.

He’ll win the Rollins title, and then Finn will end up with it. That sounds amazing! I don't think its a chance at him beating Roman for the title but I would say its about a 50/50 chance RN at taking it from Seth. I think it all depends on if they want the JD separation be over the title or the failed cash-in. Im hoping the title personally

My thoughts are the briefcase will end up with Cody and that's how he gets his shot with Reigns again.
Feels like the JD-Rollins opportunity has come and gone now. It was all setup for either Balor to win it and have massive tension between him and Priest, or for Priest to capitalise after Balor and Rollins went all out against each other, and for that to have massive tension between the pair. Feels like that may have even been the plan but they've realised the JD storylines are actually the best thing going now and keeping them together is better for the short term at least.
So yeah, I think the way forward is for Cody to end up challenging Priest for the briefcase.

Cody beats Roman at Wrestlemania. Priest successfully beats Cody sometime after that.

Let Gunther beat Seth for the Title then let Priest eventually beat Gunther for the Title

Cody wins the title. Then Priest cashes in and finishes the story. Cody gets his WM moment and is Champion for 5 minutes. Book it.
