It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that someone from AEW is leaking stuff to make Punk look worse than he is. Who do you think told Meltzer about the fight after Brawl Out? Jericho wasn't ther. The only ones there were Punk, the Bucks, Ace Steele, Christopher Daniels, and Kenny Omega. Let's see, who out of this group has a reason to make Punk bad? Gee, I wonder who. You need to take off your Punk blinders, my man. JUST as many people blamed The Elite for the brawl. Nice try though. I haven't seen it here, besides the usual people who don't love everything AEW does.

Honestly i kinda want this to go to court just to find out how much of slimeballs the elite are and how incompetent tony is. Do you know how petty that makes Punk look? How much of a p***y that makes Punk look like? He's a millionaire who will forever me remembered as one of the best wrestlers ever. This "slander" you claim has happened against him will not hurt his reputation at all. People already thought Punk was a punk lol. There is ZERO legal claims to be made here, man. You do know that punk took legal action against wwe for unpaid royalties and won. Then wwe sued him and he won that as well. So you think punk does not have his lawyer on speed dial right now as we speak ?? If there is overwhelming evidence that aew's claim for termination have merit, then he will probably not pursue anything. If its the other way though and tony said he was "threatened" and it turns out that is all bullcrap like many think it is, then he has a strong case in court. More than likely tony will write him a big fat check to go away. I think i can almost guarantee punk will have no issue going to court if his lawyer advises him he has a case.

Ok then my mistake, i guess i was having a conversation with a 12 year old.
Anyway so punk mentioned on colts podcast that he got a lawyer and got all his unpaid royalties, which was probably 10 year now or more.
After the podcast was released wwe paid for the lawyers of the wwe doctor defamation lawsuit which he defeated/won.
So punks deal was a 3 year deal, so if only 1 year was left on the deal a buyout/settlement is more than likely or was.
So tony better have a lot of that video evidence to support his claims, if not he is going to pay dearly for that untruth.

I wonder if WWE would have (or want) Punk back, given all this AND their past history? If not, I think he'll call it a day... I really can't see going to Impact or the like.
I am SO looking forward to his statement/version of events...

Its a shame that the Wembley show is an after thought.
If you've got a guy that is willing to walk out of a company, thats a problem. AEW weren't looking ahead in the long term of what could happen when they signed Punk. Instead they were focused on the short term of the pop he could provide. As others have mentioned, theres no proper control of the company. By the sounds of things, there isn't even a decent backstage leader. It amazes me that you can have the likes of Mark Henry, Big Show, Sting, Jericho, Omega, Moxley, and have so much backstage drama. The press conference last year was clearly his fault. Regardless of his thoughts on the EVPs, you don't publicly blast them like he done. The fact that his boss, who looked more coked up than Hunter Biden, was sitting next to him proved that he has no control of his own company.
The glass fiasco, I don't blame him entirely going by what we've heard. Theres no need for real glass in wrestling when fake glass is an option. Keep that crap in the bingo halls because its not impressing anyone. The "real glass, cry me a river" comment was unnecessary and made Perry look like a wimp. You got told no. Suck it up and get over yourself. He knew the reaction would provoke a frail Punk. Their fight also didn't need to happen. I don't believe for a second that Punk would have applied a chokehold without it being self defense. He strikes me as someone that would complain with words rather than fists unless need be. Either way, it would have killed the backstage morale of what should have been a historic night.
I do think they made the right choice in getting rid of him. Even if he was defending himself at Wembley, he seems to be the common denominator in a lot of the backstage drama.

If this is true, then bring him back to put an end to Roman's ridiculous reign - that's all I want. Also "AEW discipline committee", lol... I bet that's just Khan, sitting in a room, talking to himself, while playing with his Young Bucks, action figures. and nothing of value was lost. Lol, something hugely valuable was lost - but I'm over the moon they lost it, because this second-rate company, didn't deserve to have it to begin with. Hopefully MJF is next out the door.

Unpaid royalties, as in money owed him VS tk said something bad about me ... ummm ok lol. Punk isn't going to waste his time on any of this. He's going to move on with his life. How old are you? Gotta be early 20s.

Tony fired Punk because his legal team advised him to and he agreed. it would've been for several of punk's actions, including his history.

I am SO looking forward to his statement/version of events... If I were the WWE I wouldn’t want anything to do with him. He’s not worth it. Even if they (WWE) wanted to forget or look past all the backstage fighting in AEW (which they shouldn’t) but if they did and I was the WWE I wouldn’t want him because he’s had two serious injuries in his short time back in AEW. He’s well past his prime so I wouldn’t pay someone who’s more than likely going to be injured more than he’s not.

Why the hell is this being made public. I'm sure in WWE stuff like this happened every week yet Taker had common sense to have wrestler's court. Tony Khan doesn't know the business.
