Though I don’t collect any of them because I collect enough crap, the top three tribute lines are the BCAs, the LJNs, and the Bendies. While it feel like everyone else is trying to do Hasbro knockoffs and most the time not quite hitting the mark, these three lines are a nostalgia gold mine. Not a “Major mark” or trying to kiss ass, just saying bravo. I’m impressed. Now please get Dan Severn. I can’t collect all either (who can?), but here are my tops: -Current wrestlers: WWE Mattel -Legends in modern scale: Mattel Coliseum Collection (you could easily argue PowerTown or ZST, but based on current selections and packaging, CC is still best to me) -Hasbro Retro Style: ZST -LJN Style: Big Rubber Guys (BY FAR!) I’m not a fan, personally, of BCAs or Bendies, so can’t really rank them.

Alright, it’s August! Anyone else super excited for the Big Rubber Guys’ preorder for Jannetty, Flair, and a mystery man? Bring it on!

Wether you love, hate or are indifferent to the majors they know what they’re doing.
Their bendies (while I don’t like how many new guys are in the line - but that’s just personal taste) are great and these look phenomenal
They put every other ‘indie’ company to shame
Hit headlines Communication on point Great reveal timeframe Great product

Signing Steve Doll would be brilliant!
Just got back from a trip and have been completely out of the loop. Right now I’m catching up on all the threads in this sub forum. Someone in the Rush thread posted a video of a Big Rubber Guy coming apart at the waist. Is that an isolated incident or is this a bigger thing?

From the YouTube reviews of the first wave, it looks like these are in multiple pieces glued together at the waist and hairline. Probably not a big deal visually, but if these big guys take dives off of display cases, I’m worried they won’t be as durable as the original LJNs. MOC it is!

It would take a good amount of effort to separate them.

VintageFigs1 -- would love to hear about the production process, and why it was not possible to make these in one piece. I think they're great figures -- just fascinated by the production process, etc.

I appreciate the quick response to the indicated potential concern. For what it’s worth, I’m yet to be swayed- I’m All-In for any and all 80’s WWF figs you produce. Demolition, Jannetty, Andre, and hopefully many more to come!

It would take a good amount of effort to separate them. I’m sure that’s true for most, but mine literally came out of the package like that. I wasn’t throwing it around or trying to rip it in half. I literally removed it from the package and the front of the waist was not adhered.

Can refund that no problem. The difference between these and the Rush figures is the Rush figures have no glue. The Rush figures have nothing to keep the figure connected. They are not sonic welded. The reason I made the Roadblock live video is because after we unboxed others Rush figures on our podcast, people claimed we broke them on purpose. Which is ridiculous and clearly not the case.

All of today’s negativity will turnaround with an awesome reveal and preorder, along with Jannetty and Flair!

Jannetty, Flair, Mystery Man. Pre-order next Wednesday. Who do you want it to be?
Hint…he was supposed to be a LJN.

Wait, wasn’t Tonga Kid/ Tama of The Islanders supposed to be an LJN? He would pair nicely with Haku.

Wait, wasn’t Tonga Kid/ Tama of The Islanders supposed to be an LJN? He would pair nicely with Haku. No, the canceled wave was supposed to be smash, barbarian, the bushwackers, brother love and bad news brown. I'm guessing barbarian which would be awesome but if it's bad news brown that would be even better
