A hockey season is 82 games. I've played hundreds of seasons of NHL over the years but have NEVER finished a 162 game baseball season in any baseball game I have ever played.
There was computer game called "Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders." I LOVED THIS GAME but it was way to advanced for me as a kid because I couldn't figure out the solutions. I think right there you are going to get bread to use to lure a 2 headed squirrel out of it's tree because there's something in the tree you want? YEAH. If I was tech saavy enough I'd have it or a modern version downloaded, but I'm an idiot so that's that.
There was another game like this by the same company called "Maniac Mansion" that later came out on Nintendo that I bought and beat. EXACT same style of play with the same kind of difficult puzzles to figure out. Anyone who played "Maniac Mansion" remembers this,
=============================
This game and I have a nice history.
I got "Dragon Warrior" for Christmas when I was 9. I fecking loved this game. I don't remember how long it took me but I finally got the final boss (The Dragonlord) and he beat the bricks off me again and again and again. The game came out of the NES and never went back in. About 15 years later I moved in with my girlfriend. I had all my old Nintendo games, but my console had moved on to the afterlife by then. She had a Nintendo though.
I would eventually hook it up and see what the Dragon Warrior situation was, and the game was still saved on there. I loaded it, marched my way across the Overworld towards the Dragonlord. He liked picking on 9 year old me, well let's see how he does with 24 year old me................ And he beat the bricks off me again. MOTHER FECKER!!
Took a few tries but I would eventually slay that big green b@stard. My girlfriend didn't have the slightest clue why I was so happy to beat a Nintendo game from the 80's. I had avenged my 9 year old self. It felt DAMN GOOD because I remember being upset that I couldn't beat him as a kid. B1tch.
===================================
And of course there is this game which I won't even talk about because it caused me more slaughters than every video game I have ever played combined. Outside of youtube videos I have NEVER seen a person beat this guy. The online video are all fakes and if you tell me you beat him I will declare you a liar.
