I'm curious how they'd go about doing Andre since he has two LJN figures. Would they do a two in one with removable hair? Soft goods singlet? Or would they double dip and do one of the two looks in the future? Id imagine we'll get the long hair and trunks look first just because it was the earlier version and the singlet version already got done in the mainline, though I hope that does get done again. It'd look great in CC packaging and I couldn't find that Andre in store There were 3 Andre looks in the LJN line. They could do the swappable hair gimmick to replicate his v1 and v2 figures. The v3 Grand Toys singlet look could be a seperate release since that's his heel era and he shouldn't have the same type of smiling headscans that the earlier Andre has. One should definitely be that wide eyed expression he'd do frequently during his heel run. True enough. But doesn’t the black singlet Ultimate Andre already have that look? Who am I kidding- I’m a sucker for the CC packaging. I’d buy it again just to keep on the blister.

I still wish Piper and Orndorff were packed together, Piper and Steele was just so damn random.
Maybe V1 Hogan and Orndorff?

While I would definitely want this set, I really don’t think Orndorff is an option at this point. Not only has he not received a Mattel fig in years, but he’s now getting retro style figures from independent companies (at least one I’m aware of).

I don’t like the idea of “lifetime” contracts.

I want to say the company that is doing Buff Bagwell and Scott Norton? Then again, I think they’re also doing Eddie Guerrero and Tatanka. So maybe they just don’t care about legal contracts?

Yeah forgot their name (without having to jump over to the other brands forum lol) but they also made a Slaughter and Road Warriors...who I believe powertown also have signed. So yeah, no idea what kind of deal Orndorff's estate has. As far as powertown's lifetime contracts...that has to be for the deep cut obscure guys more than the big names. Would hope so anyway.

You can't get much more toyetic figures than Iron Shiek LJN. The bald head, the moustache, the pose. It stands out among other 80s action figures. Even if you don't like wrestling, you see that figure and are drawn in with intrigue and wonder "who is that guy"? Would like to see it represented in the Coliseum Collection.

While not my top pick, this line can’t end without doing Sheiky!

I honestly think in figure form, Sheik is always one of the greats. The Jakks Classic was one of my favorites.

Kidding of course, but that would be pretty cool to me (and make up for a pretty lackluster return to Mattel).

"If they are signed." IF....being the keyword....he has said that about a thousand names over the last few years without anything coming to fruition. Nothing has indicated that Demolition are signed and that they probably don't have anyone new to display in the reveals, aside from possibly Brian Pillman, Barry Windham and Mike Rotundo. Even if they are - I don't want them in the LJN line.

I feel like the elites are a bit too new to confirm ultimates. I'm kind of on the fence about the elites so if I do pass on them a CC set would be a pleasant surprise

I'm in the same boat. There's a lot of names I'd like for them to get to first but for the sake of bolstering the line and getting some less known ultimates I'll take em
