No surprise Brock didn’t wrestle... I remember 2015 when Brock vs Seth was teased but that ended before it started lol, just like tonight. Remember night after King of the Ring 98 and 99?? Austin won the WWF Title in big matches. But now?? How dare big name stars wrestle on Raw, and then WWE wonders why Raw can't get any high ratings. Yeah those were the days! The best matches in RAW history! Austin vs Kane & Austin vs Taker.

Wow, just read the results, and boy did tonight sound like a big steaming pile. Sad that the days of post WrestleMania Raw being such a fun show, and kinda the wind down of Mania, are gone. Glad I didn't waste my time watching.

wow what an abysmal follow up to an overall 9.5/10 event. like, I understand you're just coming off two nights nonstop stuff. Buncha people (wrestlers) are gassed. But you have a molten crowd ready to go and you barely have ANY wrestling on this show? this is the PERFECT show to have guys who didn't get to do anything at Wrestlemania show up and put on some fun matches... LA Knight answers Miz's thing, and they actually wrestle Lashley goes against Corbin, or Ziggler...someone, just to keep his momentum going...squashing Ali was stupid and a waste of time put the OC against the models...literally ANYTHING....get some fresh faces on this show for once, so we can start moving forward the crowd would have loved it. but instead we got a ton of angles and talking, a million promos about how great Wrestlemania was (like, seriously...they still act as though a majority of people watching RAW tonight have never seen a single thing the WWE has done) the first KO/Sami match was fine, what it needed to be. and then once again a massive tease for "the biggest tag match in the history of RAW" (smfh), 15 minutes of entrances only for the fans to get ed again by them doing the "SWERVE BRO" turning Lesnar heel (despite everyone loving cowboy zero s given Brock) and continuing to build heat versus Cody. So we're just going back to the same old crapwith Lesnar- GRR scary big monster Bork kills everything dead because UFC everything had been running so great these last few months. and I'm starting to really feel like now, Vince is back in charge and is changing all the directions to what HE wants instead of the fans

That's me tuned out until Reigns loses the gold. I personally hope he holds it all the way until next Wrestlemania as it will save me the time of having to watch again.

Imagine not taking advantage on a giant moment from your biggest event and then following it up with a crap show with nothing to make up for it. When you got twitter trending "Worst Raw", you know something doesn't sit right.
I want to say tonight's Raw had a strong Vince influence, but idk, I keep getting HHH Vs McMahon power struggle vibes the more things continue to play out. Even when Vince was running things, Cody was still used pretty well since his return and the company kind of gave you the impression that they had their golden goose ready to go.
Fast forward a year later with Hunter's Mania, despite the fact that the PPV turned out well, you saw the opportunity and chance for them to pull the trigger with Cody, but decided not to take it and I can't help but wonder if this is a mixture of HHH's resentment towards Cody due to his past with AEW and possibly another way to get back at Vince.
In short, Vince's presence might have been felt tonight, but Trips Mania build up and aftermath definitely has some questionable decisions. It's really a tough call to know what's going on at this point.

I’ll watch the highlights of Cody being attacked. down for him and Brock as a Cody fan. that might be one of the best David vs Goliath out of Lesnar’s return matches yet.

I hated Cody losing at Mania bit not to worried about his placement on the card.People do realize when he returned last year and his push all the way to his injury was directly under Vince right ?
The main event players like Reigns,Rhodes,Rollins,Styles,Orton,Edge, Brock..ect don't have to worry to much with the rumored change back to Vince.Only ones that should worry are Wyatt who should have been released again anyways and sadly possibly Gunther who Vince wasn't that high on.But hopefully his mind has been changed after see his work under Papa H.
Kind feel last night in away was Triple H's last on screen appearance and kind of a thank you and goodbye to the WWE fans.I don't see him staying around much longer if Vince is back running creative.Think he'll stay if he has to for the reported $5M bonus of the sale of the company and then be gone.

Can’t help but think they’re going to book themselves into a corner with Cody Rhodes vs Brock Lesnar. Neither can really afford to lose, and if Brock loses clean then his aura is kind of diminished. As daft as it sounds turning Lesnar heel again, it was probably the only route they could go to avoid an immediate drop off from viewers. Part of me wonders if they’re going to slowly build for a Triple H vs Cody Rhodes Match somewhere down the line, in what would be a more ‘real’ version of the Triple H vs Bryan feud. I know Triple H’s situation, but you just never know.
The redemption arc on Cody is a huge risk to take. Last night’s Raw was extremely similar to Brock Lesnar & John Cena back after Wrestlemania 28. Nobody cared for Cena winning at Wrestlemania 29, he’s never going to lose twice, and by then another organic babyface could grow and work their way into the picture. The stars won’t align as well as they did at Wrestlemania 39, the crowd was hot for it, and the Bloodline has already been toppled in a sense that Sami undid them. This could all start to get very WCW if they end up expanding the group to keep them fresh for another year.

No wonder millions stopped watching wrestling What, you aren't ready for Cody to carry this program on his back for however many months because Boom Box Brock wont tear himself away from hunting babies or whatever it is he does up in Saskatchewan. I mean damn dude...babyface Brock was something else. But nah let's literally give everyone who supports Cody the middle finger last night.

The rage amongst the fans on Sunday crashed reddit's servers on the squared circle sub. I don't seem to recall that happening when Sami lost in Canada. But that's that classic HHH booking. Let the heels get away with murder for months/years til the absolute last minute. Let's see how over Cody stays now that all that momentum got ripped from him.

Nothing happened and nothing was accomplished this Raw. It literally might as well have Vince’s stamp over the logo that says “I’m back”

In 24 hours they screwed the fans out of Cody's win and happy go lucky cowboy Brock. They hear the fans but they certainly don't listen to them.

From PWI,
Vince McMahon was personally and heavily involved with last night's episode of Monday Night Raw, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources.
PWInsider.com is told that about 15-20 minutes before Raw went live on the air, a number of late rewrites for the episode were ordered, described as not "feeling" like the type of changes talents and staff had come to expect under Paul Levesque. Changes for the episode continued as the show well into being on the air and we are told they came directly from McMahon, who had his own office at Raw, just as he did before his "retirement" in the summer of 2022.
While McMahon stated he would not be "in the weeds" of creative on CNBC yesterday, we were told by multiple sources who were at Raw that there was no doubt that Vince was firmly back in charge following the Endeavor acquisition of the company.
PWInsider.com is told the night started with Paul Levesque on headsets running Raw, but as the taping went on, it was McMahon who was more and more involved as the point person running the show. While McMahon was on headset producing a few times over Wrestlemania 39 weekend, he was at the gorilla position for most of last night's Raw taping, directly overseeing the proceedings.
Among some talents we spoke with, there was a huge negative shift in morale as they realized that things were going to go back to "exactly where they were" before Paul Levesque was placed in control as Chief Content Officer. One source said the "place felt nuked" but others didn't go that far. The feeling was that going forward, the likelihood was that McMahon would be overseeing everything again, leaving the creative once again to his whims and sensibilities, although whether that actually plays out remains to be seen.
A big part of that feeling of resignation was that Levesque is genuinely liked and trusted by the talents, especially since so many came through the WWE NXT system, and for some of them, that feeling of security many had felt in the run from Summerslam to Wrestlemania was no longer a given - and would be far departure from how some we spoke to felt tonight.
Other talents more or less shrugged it off, feeling they always suspected "all roads" would lead to McMahon being back in the central creative role eventually, but wanted to see if this would be a regular thing or whether it just happened last night because McMahon was at TV due to being in Los Angeles for Wrestlemania and the acquisition announcement.
One person joked WWE was always McMahon's world and now it's back in the palm of his hand after he willingly gave it up last summer.
More as we confirm.
