so what was the point of Ronda/Shayna winning the tag match at Mania if they're not even in the #1 contender match? not that I want them to be but both Liv/Raquel and Damage CTRL lost at Mania

I think it’s either one of two things
1. They’re using AI to write shows by typing in “lots of commercials with very little quality wrestling”
2. Vince is in the seat

I plan to watch later but it sounds like an absolute steaming pile of garbage is being served up tonight by Vince.
It is a shame because I’ve been watching for a long time (way too long) & the past 8 months are the most fun I’ve had since the Attitude Era. Would be disappointing to discover that it’s going to be back to nonsense, meaningless segments & zero character build outside of the main event segments like we see in Vince shows.
Hopefully tonight is just an off-night.
