For those who believe in the "controlled detonations" theory of 2001, consider this.....
Aluminum turns into liquid at about 700 degrees and becomes VERY volatile.
Mixing water or condensation with molten aluminum (liquid aluminum) can cause massive explosions. There have been examples of entire production facilities blowing up as a result of the mixture.
Commercial airline jet engine fuel burns at about 2000 degrees.
An airplane crashing into a building and bursting into flames would have caused sprinkler systems to activate.
And of course the most important element here is the airplane itself, which is made from well over 100 thousand pounds of aluminum.
1. Airplane hits building.
2. Sprinklers turn on and water/moisture/vapors are free flowing.
3. You now have co2 (in it's various forms) flowing through every nook, cranny, ventilation shaft, stairwell etc.
4. Airplane fuel tanks explode causing the immense heat to turn all of the airplane's aluminum into liquid.
5. That molten aluminum starts making it's way through the same pathways the co2 was going.
6. When the 2 meet up you get a chemical reaction and then an explosion.
7. Those explosions happen again, and again, and again, as molten aluminum mixes with co2.
8. Gravity is pulling the water and molten aluminum downwards which explains (for example) why the 10th floor exploded, and then the 9th, and then the 8th, and so on.
Just something to think about.
