I can’t wait for a random guy in Canada to end up with the bulk of all six waves and charge $200 per wave to get them like what happened with the Harley Race BAF set The fact that so far all the AEW Walmart exclusives have been pretty easily available seems like a miracle to me, either Jazwares has connections or Mattel is just bad at this or maybe both I'm just afraid the later series will just start randomly appearing at southern discount stores many states away from me for $10 each - - - and my social media will be blasted with people and their shopping carts full of them - - - asking "wow HOW MUCH R THEZE WORTH?" - - - and my only means of obtaining them is then for $60+ on scalper sites.... Because that would really suck..... especially while the Walmarts in my area all remain unstocked. Look at what happened when target had that online only legends set. Lots of problems with orders then a few months ago i saw a pic of a ton of them at ollies. I forsee something like that in the future, or rsc gets them. I highly doubt i will be able to buy the bischoff figure, the only one i want in the new set. If mattel wants to step up and actually make sure these get to wally stores, i am all for it. However its very unlikely to happen.

However its very unlikely to happen. I'm sure no one at Mattel would admit it publicly, but someone there MUST be going nuts that they keep developing new unique figure lineups for Walmart, and Walmart refuses to stock them past the first 1-2 waves of figures. The part I'm not clear on is who is then moving them over to the discount chains (Ollie's, Bargain Hunt, Dollar General) or Ringside Collectibles - is Walmart buying them from Mattel then just unloading them because it's too much trouble to get them into the stores? Or is Walmart just telling Mattel "we don't want these anymore" and it's Mattel's problem to unload them; Does Mattel just manufacture these waves for Walmart on a handshake deal that they may or may not stock them?

Flair ForeverHere is how it goes, mattel pimps there latest stuff to walmart and target. Walmart and target then greenlight what they think would be good fits for there stores. Mattel then earmarks X amount of units/cases for each exclusive line and produces them at there factories. They then send walmart and target a first shipment. The rest are then stored at a mattel warehouse. Then its a waiting game for walmart in particular. Target has been better over that 2 years or so of actually getting there exclusive legends line into stores. So of the 5k wally worlds some of them that dont move a lot of volume will not get shelf space for this RA line. The others that do have a spot for them its just a waiting game and they might never get any in at some stores. So then if the sales dont meet a certain point walmart does not order any more of a series/set. Then its up to mattel what they want to do with the leftover figures that walmart did not reorder. Sometimes they go to discount stores, sometimes rsc get thems. But by no means is walmart or target demanding these lines. That is a bunch of bullcrap.

This is all true except Target and Walmart are very much demanding these lines. Both retailers are asking Mattel for a certain amount of exclusive SKUs from the WWE brand each year. Target and Walmart are two of Mattel's top clients, it's the right thing to do from a business perspective. Now I don't know about Mattel but I do know that Target and Walmart have very recently asked Hasbro to stop doing so many online pre-orders and more exclusives that are in-store only, because the want to drive people back into the stores, and of course Hasbro is going to do what Target and Walmart want.

Walmart and target are not demanding these exclusive lines. They like having exlusive lines of toys in there stores but could easily live without them.
If they really cared that much they should be very upset when ringside gets all there leftovers.
That would mean they want the exclusives but mattel is not deliverying them in a timely order. This is highly doubtful, because toys are not a major product mover except during the holiday season.
Toy sales in general have to be going down year after year as well as more people use there phones and tablets for entertainment.
So all in all toys for walmart and not a big priority even there own exclusive product lines. So this cycle of exclusive toy lines not making there way to there own stores will continue.
Random stores will get them, most stores will not. The line gets cancelled are repeat the process over again. Mattel does not have any leverage to get walmart to do a better job of stocking there product in there stores.

But why wouldn't Walmart make these figures available on their own website? Why all the cancelled pre-orders? Why are they earmarking exclusive product for themselves, and then turning paying customers away? If they can't/won't ship them out to their stores, they ought to at least make them available through their own website.

Because walmart is run by idiots, top to bottom and they don't care about your $20 toy. Your not buying a 75 inch tv or something to that equivalent, your ordering a $20 toy and they are not amazon. I do not even consider preordering anything off of walmart or target because i read all the posts of people on here saying there order was cancelled yet again. Toys are probably the lowest priority to walmart in store and online overall when its not the holiday season.

Target is good with preorders now, never had a problem with them, they have a very good infrastructure for the their website, I would argue at the expense of their actual stores, but that’s neither here or there

Take these fools off my hands, I need Ultimate Edition Kane 😂 Shelton looks phenomenal. I have him preordered from WM. But who knows if I’ll ever actually receive it.

Yeah- My Nash, Shelton AND 3 figures from the WWE Superstars line (all Walmart exclusives) all got pushed back to April 18-20. Fingers crossed... At least i found an NWO Booker T from Wave 2 (the only, single figure they had from Wave 2), which is the one I wanted most.

My Nash is now the 18th. However, Walmarts postponement email was addressed to someone whose name was not remotely related to me LOL! I checked my original email and my name is correct. Doesn’t increase my confidence that it will ever show up.
