I collected every figure from series 1 up to series 8 and then just hit a wall with this line. Not really sure why. I just have no interest in buying anymore AEW figures. Now I have 4 totes full of Moc figures down in my basement with no plans to do anything with them.
Did anyone else lose interest in this line?

I’ve definitely lost interest but haven’t quit. It’s just annoying that they keep cycling through the same problems over and over
Lose joints Bad skin tones Bad head sculpts Inaccurate scale Missing deco A horrid chase format Long periods of silence
I’m just over it tbh, haven’t bought any AEW figures since the black friday sale, outside of store exclusives I probably won’t buy much until the next one

I haven't quit collecting, but my interest is definitely way down. There continue to be a lot of issues with the line. Early on, I was willing to give them a pass and they were very communicative with the community about what went wrong, how it was being addressed, etc. A subpar product and no communication isn't a good combo.
Inconsistent skintones and figures continue to look ashy or washed out Decreased quality - the early waves had incredible soft goods, solid accessories, etc. It feels like the majority of figures right now are just the figure and an extra set of hands. Softgoods are all but gone. Repeat characters. I'm only going to buy so many Bucks or Kenny, even with cool attires. Static attires - Jericho and Mox have basically had the same looks for 3 years now Too many expressive had sculpts that just don't look accurate. Lack of promotion Changing lineups Exclusives overload Decreasing retail availability
There's just a general fatigue for me. I'm hoping we see and hear something soon, and they really knock it out of the park. At one point I was buying a lot more AEW than WWE figures, but the dynamics have totally flipped. I've been loving everything Mattel is putting out, and feeling pretty indifferent on the last 6 months of AEW's offerings.

I've lost interest, but as soon as AEW made toys of all of the wrestlers I like, it was going to happen eventually. The Owen Hart was disappointing.
I had all of the first few series, but sold all but three. Thankfully before the bargain bins over here in the UK became flooded with AEW tat.

I just went nearly all of 2022 not buying a single AEW figure, and then caught up on basically the whole year (or more) with Ringside's Black Friday sale.
I don't really see a big quality issue but I do agree with the comments above about the weird skin tones and head sculpts. One that sticks out to me is that new Jungle Boy with the maroon/purple trunks. That screaming scan is horrendous and his skin tone is like a muted olive shade that does not look natural.
My biggest gripe is just the lack of diversity in the lines. There's quite a few people I've been wanting that are OGs of AEW. I hate that we get Mox/Jericho/etc. so often.
I see that there's a new Trent and Statlander on the way and I just have to ask: Why? These two sold horribly. I know they have updated looks now but AEW has such a deep roster that I don't know why they're wasting time on remaking 2 characters that consumers just weren't that into. And that's just one example. I really hate to see Jazzwares revisit the same characters when there are so many first-time characters waiting to have one release.

My interest level is pretty much the same that it's been the whole time. I'll buy pretty much any Kennys, Bucks, and Punks (if they still come out) and then pretty much any other figure I like. I do agree that the scans can be hit or miss, but I haven't had any real quality issues outside of the Supreme Cody boot problems.

I think the thing with the repeated wrestlers is that there are only so many main eventers in AEW, and they've lost two of the biggest ones they had in Cody and Punk. You're going to get Moxes and Jerichos and Omegas because waves need anchors. It feels like the main eventer fatigue would be much less pronounced if we had the really heavily-requested names already (Hayter, Hook, Danhausen, Acclaimed, etc.). The line will probably be in a better place later in the year once the ranks get filled out with the popular first-timers and some of the more prominent ex-WWE guys like Claudio and Joe and Swerve and Keith Lee, but if the long waits continue people might just not care by that point.

I haven't quit on it yet but I've only a handful. I was selective from the get go...

I'm not 100% done but I went from being all in at the beginning to completely disheartened by the Chase and Rare figures. For a while I was getting everything MOC and a second set loose. Now I'm getting my favorite wrestlers only, but they are few and far between, so I haven't ordered anything since August.
I'll probably get Danhausen.

I don’t really feel the main event fatigue because there are attires of those guys we haven’t gotten that I really want, I’m actually surprised Moxley hasn’t had more figures than they’ve done

I have cherry picked ever since the initial debut of the figures. Some I think look great and others I just laugh at
I’ll probably continue to cherry pick as long as it’s a talent I like and the figure looks good

But even then it's not a big deal.

I never collected this line to begin with, but the proportions look really odd. I've wanted to buy a Neville. I just can't grasp at how he looks. He looks like he has a giant wedgie. I'll buy a retro Sting if they ever decide to release one though.

I'm the opposite, I'm all in and want more.
Sounds like you've burned out because you collected every figure. With modern lines I don't think that's the right approach to take cause there's so many figs/it gets overwhelming fast. I stick to one look per character on my display so I'm kept in check/not pressured to buy everything/etc. and I enjoy it very much.

The line stinks. Horrible distribution along with poor execution makes for a lacklustre line of figures. I was super excited early on, but jazwares really isn’t great.

No it’s because the quality went downhill starting with Unrivaled 5 I think the quality wasn't there from the beginning. I preordered series 1, sight unseen to support AEW and their entry into the figure world. Jazwares produced a product below the current standards right from the get go. The following waves all had their own issues. It feels like the overall tought of this whole line has been, "People online like wrestler "X", lets make a figure of them. Does it matter if the figure looks like them? No. People online say they like "X" so here is "X". Oh, and here's a great idea, people love "X" when they wore "this" outfit, lets make a version of that, BUT let's make it Super Hard limited and hard to find because our customers will love that!" I'm hoping their acquisition by that other company possibly leads to a Reboot with a new Elite/Ultimate/Supreme body mold that offers different outfits/head scans for figures that might have to be more directly advertised to collectors online instead of in-store retail. I can see this line dying because they're trying to sell $20+ figures that aren't worth it. I wonder what would have happened IF they tried to release a "Basics" retail line. I would have never bought that because I want articulation, detail and likeness. I'm willing to pay premium for that, but the average wrestling toy buyer isn't.

The figures still look great to me and its plenty that I still want(mainly Danhausen and Hayter) but the time between releases has got me not caring as much tbh.

No it’s because the quality went downhill starting with Unrivaled 5 Very much agree to disagree. The Supreme figures are out of this world. I think the Blood and Guts Thunder Rosa is the best AEW figure they've done PERIOD. The Britt, Miro and Andrade figs in Series 10 rule. I do believe it's a line to pick and choose because when a fig is bad (the newest Jungle Boy, etc.), it tends to be really bad. But I couldn't disagree more about going downhill after 5.

The parts are cheap and flimsy and the skin tones are zombie clay, it started in Unrivaled 5 and it still hasn’t been changed since then, only Unmatched has the good pigments and joints The Supreme figures are not even in the conversation and them being good at a $45 price point doesn’t change the fact that the main line is corner cutting and feels cheap. My area doesn’t even have Supremes at retail and probably isn’t getting them
