The only reason I could kind of see being mad about something like this is if you overpaid for the figure.
Even then, nobody made anyone pay a cent above retail for these.
It's not like the figures come with some sort of declaration saying that this is your one and only shot at them.
Can't blame Mattel for human impulses.

And with all investments you‘re always taking a risk and have to know the right time to sell. Guess they waited too long to sell and the market fell out from under them. Their fault for not selling earlier when they coulda maximized their ROI.

I’ve been getting a big kick out of reading through comment sections.

I’m paraphrasing here but one guy said “this was a line geared for collectors and the constant re-releases does not have the collectors in mind” - wtf? That’s exactly why they’re doing it. Giving collectors who missed out or don’t want to pay $100+ for a figure is 100% helping collectors out

I’ve got no sympathy for anyone who gets upset over a re-release. NO SYMPHY!!!
