Earlier today, I was in the mood to read. I chose a classic mystery. You may be familiar with it: After reading, I got around to opening my HULKAMANIA Anniversary set. I felt a little customizing was in order. But first, I put on a movie in the background. Something lighthearted and uplifting. My two top choices were family friendly classics: and But then, I saw this old gem, and hit play: Feeling motivated, I got down to work. I did the old crack and switch on the '80s Hulkster, gave him an Ultimate torso, and pulled a head switch: Then I took a long, hard look at the infamous Hound Dog Hogan Head. I know Hulk came out in that exact gear against Terry Funk on Saturday Night's Main Event. But I recalled another match I enjoyed even more; one in which he did the same old "headband in mouth" routine. This one against Nikolai Volkoff: So, I figured, why not see how it looks? I kinda like it. As for the non-Velcro shirt, it's perfect on an Ultimate 13 body. This is the quintessential early & mid '80s Hulkster in my opinion:
