There was recent discussion in another thread involving a better choice of action/body type for the Ric Flair Hasbro figure. This got me to thinking of a fun exercise: what would the best alternative action feature be for each of the Hasbro figures?
Hulk is a little bit harder having so many. I could still imagine him with the Macho King punch or the Warrior/Gonzalez style flailing.
Flair would work well with the series 1 Macho Man style feature or the Jake Roberts punch.

I always thought a Tito Santana in his white attire would’ve been best with the Rick Martel body & action.

I always thought a Tito Santana in his white attire would’ve been best with the Rick Martel body & action. I wonder if he had been even planned for white trunks. His Hasbro card featured him in white trunks which was silly given he was as El Matador. Also Berzeker's card showed in blue cloak rather than his figures brown. I guess they got lazy, had photos on file and didn't bother getting new photos. Flair is a real tough one for an action. His Galoob figure is probably the best as it looks like he's either doing a strut or he could be grabbing legs for a figure four. The Macho #1 body or Jake might be the only good choices as noted in OP.

I always felt Razor Ramon would have been better in the Hulk #1 / Sid body mold. He wasn't that much shorter than either. Also, the gorilla press action could have worked well with the Razor's Edge Finishing move.
Had they made a Dino Bravo, I felt the Hammer body mold would have been perfect for him. They were similarly built, and the clothesline action could have worked for his side-slam finisher.
For Flair, I think Smash's mold could have been a good one for him, just have to redo the torso so I'd doesn't have part of Demolition's attire.
For Rude, he, like Flair, needed something different. The body mold just didn't fit him. I liked the curling right arm as it worked well for the Rude awakening, but the torso and punching arm wasn't right. Brutus #2 would have been a great choice for Rude, at least body-wise.
For Anvil, I thought the Hacksaw/Berzerker body would have been best for him. Also, his head seemed a bit small.
Macho King/Man mold would have been great for a Hart Foundation Bret Hart figure.
The Hulk #1/Sid body mold would have been better for both Crush and Adam Bomb, but I think they went with the Perfect mold because they all wore singlets.
The Bulldog/Lex mold may have been a better choice for Scott Steiner, but I think they did the same thing with him that they did with Crush and Adam Bomb.

I don’t think Brutus’ torso would have been good fit Rude personally; far too thick. I’d even rather have the one we got personally. I think the only one remotely close, but still not ripped enough, is Macho King’s body.

I suppose his gimmick changed and they had to adjust.

Big Bossman #2: Uppercut
Ultimate Warrior #1: Clothesline
Ric Flair: The Headlock Punch is fitting, but maybe a Backhand Chop
Crush #1: Hulkster Hug but with open palms facing each other
Hacksaw Jim Duggan #2: Clothesline
Tatanka: 12-6 Tomahawk Chop
Greg Valentine: Elbow Smash

Incidentally, that Ric Flair body would have made an okay ring gear Roddy Piper. Dunno how well the head would fit, though.

Great minds think alike! I used a greg for my custom bravo based on exactly the same thinking. The body type and arm pose was perfect and definitely can see them using it if they made a bravo
