I was recently in NYC and I made sure to bring my kids to Macy's. It's the largest store in the world and it's quite the sight and worth the visit. It takes up an entire city block and I think it's 8 stories tall. There is a toy section but sadly they did not have any wrestling figures. If you're a fan of Harry Potter, that store is within walking distance and it's worth the visit. There's a Lego store near the Harry Potter store which had a lot of great stuff. Times Square is worth the visit for the visuals but the amount of people can be a bit overwhelming. The Macys in Herald Square has a Toys R Us store within a store now. Its not the old big box TRU but at the same time, its not just the Macys toy department with a Toys R Us banner over it. They have a bunch of Basics and the Top Picks Elite Series with Rey Mysterio, Undertaker and The Rock.

I would put Central Park first on the list. Not sure where are you traveling from, but checking viator customer service phone number and ask them for help with the tickets might be a great idea. No matter if you purchase them couple of months in advance or it is a last moment thing. Was using their services for many years now and most of the times everything went really well.
