I think the stern face looks decent, but that smiling scan is horrible. For $40 plus tax he better come with a damn near excellent paintjob and headscan. I'm assuming most people just want the headscans. Yep. And they even made the genius move of putting that molded headband on the stern face - so you can't even use it for a heel WWF/King Of Harts custom. Way to go guys, way to go... 🤦♂️ This could of been a easy cash grab. They should of made it removable.

It’s fantastic that we got an Owen figure after many years, but the face is just terrible. Looks like a mix between Ellen DeGeneres and Owen Wilson. It would be awesome if Powertown got to do an Owen.

I don’t think that this would’ve been anyone’s first choice for an Owen figure, but it’s what they gave us…It’s not ideal, but it works, I see his likeness in both head sculpts…I’m probably going to grab this, use the serious/headband head for the fig and the smiling head? He looks a little goofy, just goofy enough to work as a retro!? that said, I do not own any aew figs, is the head compatible with a Mattel retro body!? How much modification would be necessary?

This being Owen’s figure return after all these years is beyond disappointing . This figure flat out is not good in any respect. Damn

I agree that the headband should've been removable, but the figure itself is fine for a rookie Owen. It being overpriced and RSC picking out two heads with off face printing (especially that smiling one) does them no favors.

The shipping on this to Australia is just about the same as the figure itself. Not a chance, as bad as I wanted Owen they’re pricing people out on what is not a great figure.

I was going to say I didn't think this figure looked that bad -- until I saw the price was $40. Not good enough for that price

The reaction to this figure is my reaction to the AEW figure line in general unfortunately. Lot's of promising figures that end up being underwhelming when the finished product are in our hands. I had this figure ordered months ago and I am still looking forward to it. I just hope Jazzwares reconsider on how they plan on moving forward with the whole AEW line in general, because things seem to be a mess.

I don't hate this figure as much as most seem to. The smiling head is way off and of course I'd rather have a more notable attire, but the serious scan works for a young 1980s Owen in my opinion.
The price is steep given what you get. Even though I don't own any other Jazware figures, there is an impulse to pick this one up given it is the first Owen Hart we have gotten in 23+ years. Then again, we are almost guaranteed to see more figures of him down the line and I think most are holding out for the version that best depicts his signature WWF look without infringing on any copyrights. Safe to assume that many of his WWF attires won't be an option, but I'll be more than happy with a black singlet/pink trim Owen based off of WrestleMania X. That is pretty much all I need.

I like the heads, but I wish he had the black singlet top (as he does in the photo on the packaging).
There's no reason why Jazwares shouldn't be able to do a generic black with pink trim (and perhaps pink with black trim chase) Owen, as Pro Wrestling Tees did. Even if they have to put an Owen Foundation logo on it, it's better than nothing.
Ideally, it would come with longer hair (1994), mid-length (1996), and short hair (1997) heads, although a leather jacket would be cool too. Would Owen sell well enough to be in the Supreme line?

I think it’s a solid figure. It’s just from an era I don’t care about.
I just want a 94 King Of The Ring Owen, which I know isn’t possible. But a solid pink singlet would at least help.

So, to everyone who has received this figure, was there staining from the entrance jacket? It looks like there is no staining on the one the folks at RSC opened. But there seems to be very light staining on the shoulders on the one video review (other than RSC) for the figure.
How was your experience? Stain or no stain?

I received my figure yesterday and first off the second head he comes with on mine is miss printed his lips are above the sculpt so that just great. Other than that I actually really like the figure it feels sturdy too elbows are good not like previous AEW figures. Overall I am pretty satisfied with it. So, to everyone who has received this figure, was there staining from the entrance jacket? It looks like there is no staining on the one the folks at RSC opened. But there seems to be very light staining on the shoulders on the one video review (other than RSC) for the figure. How was your experience? Stain or no stain? The shoulders are a little bit stained on mines unfortunately. He doesn't come with the plastic protecting the figure from the fabric.

The shipping on this to Australia is just about the same as the figure itself. Not a chance, as bad as I wanted Owen they’re pricing people out on what is not a great figure. I thought I'd be first in line for an Owen Hart, but not only is the figure disappointing to look at, but the price to the UK is ludicrous. Shipping a regular figure to me? $11.50. Shipping a slightly bigger box? $32. And on top of that the British Pound took a dive in recent time, so... No. Not spending more than triple a normal AEW figure price on something I'd be ripping apart for a custom anyway.
