I really enjoyed The Marvel. That mid credit scene, holy sh**. Also a group of people were watching tiktok videos with the volume up while the movie was going on and I vocally lost my sh** towards them, which was an experience. First time I’ve had to deal with someone like that. Grown adults too. I don’t get it.

Ok so I have to say I enjoyed The Marvels a fair bit. My expectations were low because if I'm honest Kamala Khan annoys the absolute f#ck outta me but I was pleasantly surprised.
Mid credit scene was fire. They needed that

Quality over quantity. I hope Marvel gets back on track.

The Marvels was a lot better then I thought it would be,like said earlier it wasn't close to the first. The first Capt.Marvel movie is up there with The Eternals as MCU movies that I just didn't enjoy at all but besides that one scene that a lot is talking about I enjoyed everything and that mid credit scene....WOW!
Last couple episodes of Loki delivered too, especially that finale

Loki was a complete miss for me. The entire thing feels pointless. Im in the minority but I genuinely dont get what the fuss is over.

Loki was a complete miss for me. The entire thing feels pointless. Im in the minority but I genuinely dont get what the fuss is over. I agree, I thought that it was ok at best and do not get the whole "ending is a masterpiece" that some people are going with. My dad hated it and I mean hated it! He usually tries to see the positives in things, but he says he hated what they had Loki become. "He is a god!!!" was what my dad kept saying as he would complain about this mild mannered Loki that we got. On a more positive MCU note, I thought that The Marvels was a lot of fun. It was not great, but it was a good time and I am glad I saw it in the theatre. I liked the pacing of it too, the shorter run time kept it moving forward and as a trio, I thought the three leads worked well together. Also, I have to give them credit as the CG was damn good. I have gotten used to seeing terrible CG over the last few years, but this movie nailed it. It wont be a movie I pay to see again in a theatre, but I will certainly watch it when it hits Disney Plus.

Finally watched the Loki finale last night. Still not sure how I really feel about it but it's cool
I've got a fun theory but I doubt it'll be what actually happens

Is Deadpool the only MCU movie for next year? Yup....Feige has really reined everything in for repairs. Cap 4 going for huge reshoots too.

I cannot wait for Deadpool 3, most hyped I have been for a Marvel movie in quite some time. I could see it doing a billion to be honest with you. However, if Deadpool 3 does not light up the box office it may prove that super hero fatigue is a thing.

Bob Iger said the poor results of the marvels was in his opinion because it was a story people weren’t interested in and lack of supervision and direction on the set as there have been on other marvel projects. They trusted the process.

If it’s a story people are interested in and that people want to see they will seek it out to see it. I just don’t think this cosmic/space, focused phase is something people are really interested in. It’s been a lot of secondary comic characters, with little to no serious stakes. Guardians 3 did great because people are invested in those characters.

Agreed plus there is no goal...we were headed to The Avengers teaming up in Phase 1 & teased Thanos Phase 2 introduced the concept of the stones, their power & that Thanos was seeking them. Phase 3 split the heroes & built to their unification and the arrival of Thanos. Through all this they introduced heaps of characters & locations so successfully & seamlessly it was unreal. Phase 4 built to nothing & was rammed with characters & stories that don't connect mostly. Kang showed up properly in Ant Man 3 & was dealt with.... It's a narrative mess currently. Once they sort it out they'll get folks back.

I also think they supremely underestimated the impact of losing Downey Jr, Evans, Scarlett, and Boseman all at once.

Sounds like the character that Norman Reedus is playing in Blade is in fact Ghost Rider.

Sounds like the character that Norman Reedus is playing in Blade is in fact Ghost Rider. Wait. A guy whose most famous character is known for riding motorcycles, and has an adventure show dedicated to riding motorcycles, is gonna play a supe known to ride motorcycles? Real reach by casting there. Don't know how they'll pull that one off.
