Hi there friends hope all is well. So basically long story short, last month a friend of mine went on vacation to LA and bought me the Omega & Mox RSC Exploding Barbed Wire match set. He recently arrived and gave me the set, which I absolutely LOVE! However I’ve noticed that Kenny’s tee has a few defects as the thread under his armpit is beginning to come undone and there’s also a feint tear running at the back of the shirt. I’ve contacted Jazwares and they told me to contact RSC for a solution. However RSC have pretty much said that they don’t want to hear it unless I have an order number. I asked my friend for the number but unfortunately he bought it from a vendor at Frank & Sons in LA. RSC have told me that they can’t help me unless I can call the vendor and ask for the order number to which we have no clue on how to do so at this point. The set was brand new and sealed in box and I just was hoping that RSC would be able to provide me with a replacement shirt and not a new set. I’m even willing to pay for it, but unfortunately they don’t want to help me out. I just thought I’d make an account on here and check in the unlikely case that anybody on here might have a spare shirt i can buy off them? Kindly… Ps. Here’s a pic of the defect. imgur.com/a/vyx1CBm

I’d suggest sewing the defect or leaving the shirt alone so it doesn’t get worse.

Sew it or find someone who knows how to sew it. Everyone has atleast one person in the family who can do it. As for the flaw towards the bottom. Without a hem/seem at the bottom of the shirt and the material its made from. This will likely be a problem or end up being a problem over time no matter what. Unless you sew a seem at the bottom.

So you think all tee’s made like this will eventually have a similar defect? I really don’t want to have it sewn bc it will ruin the look, and I’m a collector who loves to pose his figures and not keep them vanilla :/

You said you bought it independently from a vendor. I understand its there exclusive but you bought it elsewhere and probably for more than had you just bought it from them. They wouldn’t replace a figure you bought from walmart right? This isn’t any different.

You said you bought it independently from a vendor. I understand its there exclusive but you bought it elsewhere and probably for more than had you just bought it from them. They wouldn’t replace a figure you bought from walmart right? This isn’t any different. Na I get the point… but it just doesn’t work this way in this scenario. The exclusive is only sourced by RSC and hence they have the replacement parts and the fact that they are willing to send a replacement if I can provide the order number from the vendor means that they have no issue that I bought it from elsewhere. Also I think my point is pretty logical, because although RSC will not replace a figure that I bought from Walmart, I’d need to contact the source of where the product came from originally which is Jazwares, and they would deal with replacing it. In this case the source is not JW but RSC and ALL sets of this exclusive which are available anywhere in the world have been bought from RSC, so RSC are in the role of JW since they have the replacement parts too. Not to mention that JW said they would not require an order number (because that’s just nonsensical since all JW items in public retail come from JW). Also I didn’t buy it myself, my mate who doesn’t know it’s an RSC exclusive, bought it as a gift when he went to LA but he paid much less than how much it would’ve cost to send it over to me if I bought it myself from RSC. Also I should add that I even told them I’m willing to purchase the replacement, as I’m more concerned with having a good condition product to display over saving money, but idk… I guess the robot playing customer service assistant didn’t compute.

Believe me, there’s much more worse names I can call this specific person after the garbage service they gave me. What kind of person makes snarky comments towards a genuinely concerned customer and then ghosts them? It’s not the first time either, this specific person has been very incompetent and rude to me in the past. I can even provide the email conversation if you need but I was hoping I wouldn’t need to since I don’t want to bring any more negative vibes in.

I’ve definitely given up hope on RSC helping me out, hence why I made this thread asking if anybody had a spare to sell, but yeah… definitely regretting ordering 200 dollars worth of figures from them a few weeks ago lol 🙃

I guess to play devil’s advocate here. It makes sense that they want an order number. It’s a way to prove you have the set. I am sure they get numerous calls from people claiming they have an item that is damaged or lost in the mail asking for replacements. So it’s a way to make sure they aren’t being scammed by people who don’t actually have the item. It sucks that it happened to you. Unfortunately that’s the way of the world now.
