I am still of the mindset that the feature item should be enough to sell itself and the early bird and stretch goals are just icing on the cake. None of the GI Joe vehicles needed big name figures to fund. Totally different market. Wrestling fans rely on names. They put highly sought after names/figures with rings for a reason. They had to add macho man to new gen arena. Which is why big playsets aren’t for this community. If the main thing that’s being offered is the least desired thing in the crowdfund then we should just stop asking for crowdfunds.

I think a big issue with crowdfunds is that most wrestling fans don't need another ring in their collection, but the biggest problem is the how fragmented the fanbase is. G.I. Joe fans are specifically into G.I. Joe, and while they've got preferred character looks or favorite themes it's easier to get buy-in when everything they like is at least connected. The Monday Nitro stage was always a weird proposition because it was for a dead brand that's not the same brand this line is built around, which limits its appeal even among people who focus on Legends offerings. And for those of us who rarely or don't buy Legends stuff it wasn't a compelling thing at that price point. I personally wish they'd try a full backstage set-up without obvious branding that could be adapted to any era you want (hell, include interchangeable screens with different logos, decal logo packs so you can brand the road cases and cameras in any direction), but I don't know if that's more viable just because it's non-specific. I want crowdfunds to succeed with this line, but it's such a tough proposition finding an offering that works for everyone.

The collector base is so spread out that I think it would be very hard to offer up anything that a majority of us would all be on board with. We all collect different eras, have different set ups, space availability, etc. I think the only thing that could possibly get the most people on the same page would be HIAC since other than the red version it didn’t change much over the years and has spanned every generation since the tail end of New Gen. That said, does it really need to be a crowdfund? It’s a $100 accessory at most.

I only care about the stage, it could include 5 Horace Hogan's. for all I care, I'd still get it just for the stage.

Don't forget, this stage would've taken up half a standard sized room. A lot of us are struggling to just find space for just our figures. So if this came out a lot of us wouldn't even open it.
So of course the figure selection needed to be better.
And then we want a RAW one? Forget about it.
You would just have a room filled with 2 stages, if you're able to accommodate that, good for you. Not all of us can, and also left a bitter taste in my mouth when some one said "if nitro doesn't get funded, than highly unlikely a RAW would get a crowd fund. Nah, should've been RAW first. Cause you know, that's WWE made sense when you had a ring coming out.

YOU would've kept it in the box. 95% of those excited for it would have it out and at least assembled it at one time to see it in action.

Of course, but then subsequently put it back to never be opened again, so what would be the point to justify buying in the first place? The scale was TOO big. Should've been smaller imo.

Also, I would've sold off the stage, so the figure selection NEEDED to be better than what was offered.

The thing was huge and a lot of people didn't have room for it to be on permanent display. God help the ones who have pets or younger kids, that thing would have gotten wreckedddd.

The fact that the nitro stage itself was so large and priced that cheap of a price was a crazy bargain imo

I think the price could have been cut down some on the Nitro stage had there been less lights. I remember reading those were costly.
