Side note but does anyone else think it ridiculous when people say Sting should "come home" to WWE?
I mean I'd like to see a deal reached so Mattel can make more Sting figures, but to call WWE his home is laughable.

I think 'home' is the wrong word for it, but Sting being back in the fold for documentaries, appearances, etc. would be great to see now that he's officially retired. I just wanna see him do whatever he wants at this point. Appear in AEW for a storyline, shoot a doc with WWE, show up on the first Netflix Raw, do a TNA thing, maximize that license and merch rights! So much of his legacy held is within libraries owned by WWE. I'd love to see Sting in more official stuff giving his take on things, and who knows what else they could do now that they have a working relationship with TNA. Sting inducting Luger into the HoF is an absolute must, too. I think he would at least do that. Pardon the fantasy booking here, but imagine if at WM40 when Undertaker appeared, the lights go off again, and when they turn back on it's  ing STING behind The Rock. Taker chokeslams Rock, Sting grabs his legs, motions to the fans who are absolutely losing their minds, Taker gestures to him, and he puts Rock in the Scorpion Deathlock. No, it doesn't replace the HHH/Sting debacle or make-up for not pulling the trigger on the Sting/Taker match, but you have these two WCW/WWF frontline icons working together to strike down one of their own to usher in the future. |

I'd love for Sting to be back with WWE for merchandising. I think this new regime could really do Sting some justice he never got under the Vince establishment.
I assume Mattel would understand the assignment this go round.

Pick the worst one and release that as a single, a two pack and Top Picks. Re-release all his Elites in the Top picks, Greatest Hits and Vault lines...and only update the arms. Throw us a bone by releasing the lost Legends Crow Sting. Announce his first Ultimate will be from his match at WrestleMania 31. |

If Sting does sign a Legends Deal with WWE. They need to give him the same treatment like Hogan, punk, and Cody. Just pump them out like hot cakes.

I’d only want Sting back for Surfer looks. Have no interest in The Crow. Or any interest in him doing anything on screen. I’d prefer he stay in AEW for that. He definitely should be there for when Darby wins the world title.

And people say Walmart doesn't stock figures. Anyone need a Solo or Undertaker? Yikes.   I was in a Walmart yesterday that had this same problem... More Solos than Takers though. |
