They literally made a figure of James fkn Ellsworth. Yes, and if they make Gillberg he'll almost certainly use the same body. But Mattel can't make figures that WWE doesn't have contracts for. James Ellsworth was already under contract. Them making Gillberg would mean WWE signed Duane Gill to a contract specifically for merch rights and, outside of the Goon, them signing someone with zero merchandise potential except for a single, straight up wrestlecrap figure, really isn't their style. Gill's made WWE appearances under the gimmick as recently as 2021 so it could be they signed him just to extend a courtesy to a retired guy they have a good relationship with, which they seem to do sometimes. |

What was the rumored UE 26 line up? Cody, Rea Ripley, and ? Gonna guess the UE DDP rumored is from the night he double crossed the Outsiders over joining the NWO or the night he won the title on Nitro during his heel run in 99. where did u get that from? Rhea is gonna be part of the ring so prob won’t get one for a while in the main line |

I've worked with Gill a few times at independent shows over the last couple years, I do know that he has some recent financial needs..... So I'm thinking perhaps he turned down Legends offers from WWE in the past, but his current situation made a WWE offer more appealing. Here's a pic I took of him just a couple years ago.  |

The pessimism around MNW is two-fold. The distribution is terrible and unreliable; and Mattel doesn’t have access to some of the deep cuts many people want. I know the idea of BAF is incentivizing buying the entire set (which also affects the distribution), but the most interesting names this set has produced, have almost all been BAFs.

Aren't the bafs supposed to alternate between wcw and wwe? If so this is incorrect because wave 5 is dusty and 6 is golga so 7 should be wcw Well he's based on a WCW character. You know how Mattel and loopholes work 😂 Lol true but I'm really hoping that isn't the case |

Yeah, I can't see all of that being true. Steve said on the Major's podcast (I think) that MNW was greenlit through 2026. He also said “we’re seeing Walmart pre orders doing a lot better to , right?.” lol . Have you ever said anything positive? Been seeing you and your username pop up a lot more. The constant negativity sticks out like green shirt guy at Wrestlemania. |
