Smyths in U.K. to stop stocking AEW

It's been rumoured for a while, but had it confirmed that Smyths in the U.K. will no longer stock AEW figures as of 2023.

Looks to be following the Entertainer who seemed to have stopped with the last set too.

Some Smyths stores started removing stock last week - which started rumours - then the same guy who works there who confirmed that line would be starting said today that they are doing the next 2 - 3 waves and that'll be it.

Cited poor sales as reason why and space will be given to WWE.

Not surprised. They are not selling at all. 

It's a shame because in the UK we get AEW for free so it should have a bigger fan base over here.

I'm also not surprised. They seem to hang around for ages.

My nearest Entertainer still has the series 1 Bucks sitting on the shelves.

Not surprising at all. They just sit on the shelves collecting dust in most stores.

If this means we get Ultimate Editions back instead then that's fine. And full elite series for Christ's sake!

You could see that one coming in all fairness, they aren't selling at all in damn near every store that sells them. My local stores are littered with them going back to Series 1 still sitting on the shelves.

It's a shame for the guys that collect them, but is what it is. They tried, it didn't work out.
