What if Mattel sold AEW figures and created the aforementioned “Masters of the AEW Universe” line? Which AEW personnel would portray who? Comment your answers below! I’d love to see them!

Double cheese, or double pepperoni? You can only pick one. Go!

I am a huge AEW fan, and a huge MOTU fan, but I have to admit that because of the decades of history in WWE they are a better fit for the crossover line. Even so, I think there are a few cool options for AEW/MOTU for sure...
Adam Page is based on He-Man and becomes: Hang-Man, Most Powerful Cowboy in the Universe!
There are a ton of tag teams in AEW and they can't all be Two Bad, so...
The Young Bucks are based on Modulok and become: Modu-Buck, Evil Beast of a Thousand Superkicks!
The WWE/MOTU line had some perfect crossovers (Faker Cena, Andre, Jake the Snake) but they also made some weird ones (Steamboat with random armor and dragon). So if we're picking random stuff, I wouldn't mind Orange Cassidy in battle armor, with the action feature, so he gets slashes through the picture on his shirt. Mox and Eddie would be a fun Two Bad since they were enemies and friends, so in my mind that's a good fit. If Cody stuck around he'd probably have to be He-Man but you'd also have to find a way to give him Mosquitor's bleeding gimmick, maybe make the chest window in the shape of Cody's neck tattoo?
You could do the Elite trio as Man-E-Faces but mostly just because I would want that to fight against the New Day Man-E-Faces...

It wouldn't get out of the planning stages, because they'd never be able to choose among the half of the roster that qualifies for Orko. The WWE/MOTU line had some perfect crossovers (Faker Cena, Andre, Jake the Snake) but they also made some weird ones (Steamboat with random armor and dragon). That was the Dragon Blaster Skeletor gimmick for the Dragon. I thought it made sense. Hangman's weird here because you'd think he'd be Rio Blast, but you're right, no one's a better fit in AEW for He-Man. Black Mask Andrade as Skeletor and Malakai as Hordak, then?

That was the Dragon Blaster Skeletor gimmick for the Dragon. I thought it made sense. See, the Dragon Blaster gimmick is fine for Steamboat, but... they used the armor from Origins Lords of Power Mer-Man, and the dragon from Classics Dragon Blaster Skeletor... The dragon in no way connects to the armor, you can kind of hang it there if you want but it didn't work well for me. That's what I mean by "random" weird ones. Seth Rollins with the black Zodac armor and a flaming sword is just fine but still a random mix. Braun Strowman with Beast Man armor and Terror Claws, also random. But Steamboat is the most egregious in my opinion because the dragon is made to fit on specific armor.

I assumed they went with the Mer-Man armor because it was the closest they had to something looking vaguely scaly? Although if they were mixing and matching they could've just gone with the Ninjor armor for a sort of gi look.
I think they went with the Zodac armor for Rollins because that sort of angular design is similar to the styling on Rollins's entrance vests. Even the Zodac symbol is vaguely close to the SR logo.
