Tony Khan could take some of these recent ppvs from good to great if he would just cut some of these matches. Easily could have cut three or four of these and made the ppv that much better.

I'm seriously behind on AEW these days, but decided to buy the PPV anyway. Absolutely worth the money, aside from some major frustration early on with the BR app. I really enjoyed the show, and AEW continues to do a fantastic job of story telling and continuing arcs. I would have liked to see the tag belts change hands, but if they'd rather do a switch in a singles match, I'm good with that.
Wasn't a fan of Britt and Cole winning the Owen. But I'm happy to wait and see where it goes. Cole needed a big W after taking the L in every big match he's had. Britt less so. But I'll give them a chance to tell a story from here. Hopefully this isn't just a throwaway accolade like WWE is prone to do.

Why though? If you like sports entertainment ... you've had it. If you like hardcore wrestling ... you've had it. If you like high flying wrestling ... you've had it. If you like technical wrestling ... you've had it.
Mostly because there are entirely way too many matches don't matter. Just reading the thread and this comment made me laugh as it accurately describes EVERY wwe ppv, raw or smackdown for the last 10 or more years lol

Just reading the thread and this comment made me laugh as it accurately describes EVERY wwe ppv, raw or smackdown for the last 10 or more years lol Lmao I laughed at that too. Literally every single match on this PPV had some type of story or angle. Some better than others, Darby fighting KOR because he stomped on Sting's leg was pretty hastily thrown together to make sure Hangman/Punk started after G7 ended, but it still had an angle at least. The whole world would have rathered they did literally anything else to debut PVZ than keep the Scorp-Sammy train going WM Backlash style, but as everyone in that angle acknowledged after the match, they're all glad it's over and they can all move on lol. But every match mattered. They all had a purpose.

I realize I'm in the likely small minority here, but I really liked the length of the PPV, thought it was perfect. 3 hours feels just too short given the amount of $$ it costs to buy, and going WM 2019 long is a bit too much (2 hour kickoff removed that would have been fine), this felt like the perfect sweet spot. I was exhausted after Hangman/Punk, but I wasn't burnt out going into it.

PPV length never bothers me. What am I going to do at 11 PM compared to 12:30 AM? Absolutely nothing. More wrestling for the $50 I paid to watch it? Ok!

Overall, very solid PPV. Might be AEWs best so far this year. We really need those trios titles. Glad Owen was honored but outside bringing out the Hart family and the FTR qualifier, the whole tournament didn’t really feel like it had any real connection to Owen. Cole and Britt winning make sense, but Baker is Charlotte levels right now. The tag titles have been on JE so long that when they do lose them it’ll feel like a big deal. I just hope it’s to someone like FTR, ReDragon, or PNP. I don’t need a Hardys nostalgia run or another Bucks reign. If I never saw Sammy or Tay or Kaz again I’d be fine. Glad they didn’t put Darby over. Jade is a star. Kingston is a star. Not feeling Rosa as champ. Excited to see where Warlow and MJF go from here. Super happy for Punk.
Bring on Forbidden Door.

I really dug the show. Wasn’t crazy about the amount of matches at first but watching with some friends and having a couple drinks and by the main event I was still super into the show

Super long show, which if today wasnt a holiday wouldve bothered me more. It looks like the were going on the time zone Vegas is in which really screws everyone over in Central/Eastern time zones but whatever. The KOR/Darby and ATT/KazSammyTay matches didnt need to be on the card, or at least have them on the buy in. TK should also look into having some matches be alot shorter. Sometimes a ten minute match is all you need.
Other than those complaints, I loved the show. Ruby needed the win more over Britt imo, but other than that, it was a wonderful show.

Got around to watching the Buy-In and 1st 2 matches
Hook-Hausen was exactly what it needed to be, a short fun match to get the crowd pumped.
MJF Vs. Wardlow was also exactly what it needed to be. Bryce Remsburg not falling for MJF feigning an injury and taking his ring popped me. I really want him and Punk to run it back for Round 3 for the title. Really hope TK and MJF can make amends because I really don't want to see MJF in WWE. I think he's just gonna be watered down and misused.
Bucks Vs. Hardys was decent. Jeff's Swanton onto the stairs looked brutal, I mean dude bounced off of Matt Jackson. Really hope The Hardy's aren't the ones to beat Jurassic Express though. I love these guys, Jeff Hardy is the reason I started wrestling, but they don't need a title run.

It's hard to be so strict on the ppv because AEW brings ppv quality matches on pretty much a weekly basis.
I will just say that imo Jericho has been a part of the MOTN in the last 2 ppvs.
That Owen men's final might've been what finally won me over with Cole. That was the best match I've seen of his since him and Pete Dunne back at Survivor Series 2019. Those belts are beautiful and I want one.
Still think the main event was amazing until Punk s*** the bed. I already miss Hanger as champ...but Punk will have some classics as champion, no doubt.

i think punk needs to not attempt to display great athletic attempts like flipping over the rope for the buckshot or the top rope hurricanrana. he has more to lose than win on moves like that.

I was rooting for Hangman. Hate that the other guy won.
The rest of the show was great. Damn, MJF took a shellacking. That was a PERFECT coming out party for Wardog. They need to keep this thing going and strap the rocket to this guy. Maybe I’m just overly optimistic, but I am confident that cooler heads will prevail, but I think MJF is getting paid after pulling that Warrior move, but with a year or 18 months tacked on to the contract. I hated the idea of Cody in WWE, but it seems to be working and he seems happy. A watered-down piss beer version of MJF would just ruin him. Part of him must know that he’ll never get the leeway in WWE that he gets in AEW. He should talk to EC3, because that’s MJF in two years if he goes.
It’s crazy how Sammy went from super over underdog baby face to X-Pac heat heel in a matter of weeks. Tay too. When Dan Lambert and company are the sympathetic figures you know it’s bad.
Very happy to see Athena. She looks psyched to be there, which made me fire up too.
I love Rosa, but I don’t think the outcome was ever in doubt.
Cole and Britt winning was cute for the love story, but Ruby really needed that win, and badly. I hope she’s enjoying herself, because career wise she’s no better off than she was in WWE.
I’m tired of Jurassic Express. I’m just not a big fan of the gimmick, and would rather see another team with the belts.
I know people love to crap on the angle, but House of Black vs Death Triangle was probably my favorite match of the night, although that’s partially because I’m a huge fan of all involved parties. That’s seriously six of my favorite wrestlers in one match, and it was exciting as all get out.
I love Darby, but I’m glad he lost this one. I feel like his character will benefit more from overcoming adversity.
JAS vs Mox/King/PnP was crazy! I kind of liked the gasoline spot where Danielson got pissed at Kingston. Great fun.
I don’t have much to say about Jade/Anna besides both are super hot, Jade is a star, and Anna has about as much charisma as her boyfriend, and that’s not a good thing.
My disdain for Punk is well-documented so I won’t rant about how much I despise him (oops). That aside, Hangman should have won. I feel like they were building to MJF/Page (If they weren’t they should’ve been since there’s history there), but I’m wondering if the MJF thing kind of made them pivot. We’ll never know for sure. All I know is that there are a ton of main events that I will have no interest in seeing over the next bit of time. Hangman has had a pretty good reign, but I feel like it ended too soon. MJF vs Hangman would’ve been a Bret/Shawn kind of deal with the originals fighting for supremacy only to have MJF cheat to win it. Ah well, hopefully it’s a short reign. If it’s not MJF I want it to be Adam Cole who unseats him.

I can't believe how much I enjoyed the Jericho&co/BCC&LAX match,it had no right to be that much fun. The only match I can think of that I just wasn't a fan of was helped out by the post match debuts, well maybe the ATT match but I got to see Sky,Ego,Sammy and Tay so I'm not gonna complain about that either.

I didn't need anything else for this to be a great show besides RUSH,thank you TK. I do have one or two other guys in mind if he wants to go that extra mile. Naito's definitely showing up at Forbidden Door. It's all coming together beautifully.
