Does it mean anything? I think someone once told me but I forgot. So I'm asking here. I've been having them for years now. But this year I've had 2 of them with updated themes if that makes sense. The latest one involves a wwf legend who's been dead for a few years now.

That is interesting that you dream of toys. I'm probably just as much as a toy collector as you & I hardly ever dream of toys. Once someone told me that I think about them so much in real life that is why I never dream about them lol. But idk if that makes sense. Anyways thanks for sharing.
About me being in hs/college in my dreams. I'm just in class or hanging out. Nothing special ever happens. One weird thing is that I'll recognize I'm in hs/college but the campus doesn't look like it actually is in real life but in the dream I'm still familiar with the scene & not lost.
If I remember correctly I think the reason for my reoccurring dreams is that I barely graduated from both hs/college. I'm not dumb or anything lol. Just for some reason I was almost/kinda short on credits to graduate on time.
I just wanted to check here if that reasoning makes sense? Anyways this year that same boring dream has been updated to current times as I mentioned above. Earlier this year I dreamt I was in college & I helped a girl find her location. When we arrived there she thanked me & asked for my social media info. I embarrassingly told her I didn't have any. In my mind I'm too old for that but when I was in college in real life there was no social media. 😱

I had a book about how to interpret your dreams. It was a load of nonsense.

Maybe it means you didn’t finish something in life, or you enjoyed that time period in your life or have skipped something in life or while in HS/College.

I have a recurring dream of going to a party from an area I used to go to at school. I don't know why, but it's always the same place. I don't think it means anything, I think it's just a memory popping up and wanting to remind me of my youth.

I've had a recurring dream for the past several years: It always starts with me frantically running through a train station because I'm just about to miss my ride. I always make it to the train just before it departs; however, there will be times when I realize that I'm on the wrong train and have to get off at the next stop and figure out how to transfer to the correct train, though I always end up making it to my destination. My destination is always a vintage toy store, though the location is always different. The first location that I can recall was in New York City during the winter time and I'm alone, walking through the streets of Manhattan during a snowstorm. Other locations have been inside a mall I frequented quite a bit in my youth, a storefront of an actual toy store that I went to just a few times in my life, and most recently a video game store. I don't really recall other specific locations. I walk into the store and it's wall to wall with 90s action figures from every genre you could think of. I recognize some of the toys as ones I used to have/play with and others as ones I always wanted but never owned. Here's the kicker: I always find one toy that I really want (nothing specific) and I always intend on buying it but the shopkeeper always refuses to sell it to me (either because I don't have enough money or he just flat-out refuses to part with it).
I've always taken that dream to mean that I'm desperately trying to recapture my youth but life (the shopkeeper) will not allow me to go back. I could reminiscence and look/think of things from my childhood but I can never, ever get that essence of childhood back. This dream always shakes me. I have another where I'm just wandering an empty mall and end up in a bookstore, though nothing really exciting happens I used to have this all the time. It was usually the WWF Attitude Ring in the green box.

I have another where I'm just wandering an empty mall and end up in a bookstore, though nothing really exciting happens I have this one frequently even though I dont collect any more. It usually goes like this I walk into the store and head right to the figure section which seems to always be different stores or areas that I dont actually know of but in the dream i do. Theres hundreds of figures dirt cheap, sometimes just pennies. They are always older figures from jacks ttl/r3 era. Some are even loose on the shelves in bags for like 50 cents. I get a cart and fill it as much as i can because they are so cheap, I go to get my wallet and it turns out i left it at home. Some times my friend Pat is with me and he wont even let me have 2$ lol one weird reoccurrence with this type of dream is that i mentally know what the figures are but I cant actually physically see it, like its blurry or im blind. But yes, I have school dreams at least once or twice a week...and Im 31 lol

Last week I ended up on a youtube channel where a guy and a girl were doing "reaction videos" to songs. I got REALLY caught up and watched about 4 hours of them. While I was sleeping later that night I was dreaming, and then the dream would pause and those 2 youtubers would be there (chest up) and start reviewing what they like and don't like about the dream. I don't remember the dreams or what they were were saying, but it was happening with different dreams over and over.
If you want to do an interesting experiment, set your alarm for about 2 hours after you think you'll fall asleep, and then set several alarms after that one that are only about 6 minutes apart. You'll have reached REM sleep by the time your first alarm goes off and will be (should be) dreaming. As soon as you turn off the alarm have a paper and pen and spend 10-15 seconds writing down some of the things that you're thinking about, and then go back to sleep. You'll fall back into REM sleep quickly and start dreaming, and then your alarm will go off again. Turn the alarm off and then again write down some thoughts.
Do that as many times as you want. When you turn off the last alarm write a few things down and then sleep the rest of your sleep until you wake up. When you wake up and read what you wrote you'll (I did) start getting a rush of dream memories. It's a very interesting feeling and a good way to get some clarity. I've done it a few times on weekends during the day when I feel wiped out and want a nap. If that sleep gets broken up I don't really care because it's not my night time/next day sleep.
I've written things down and used my phone to record myself talking. I would describe the dream I was just having, or just say what's in my mind at that point. It's interesting.

I always have dreams like that where I find out I have to go back to make up one lost credit, or whatever. It's pretty crazy!

I have this recurring dream that I'm back at Walmart doing my old job that I did for 9 years. It's weird. I don't know if it's a nightmare or something.

I almost exclusively have dreams in which I’m either in a shopping mall or an airport. Always different malls and airports.

Question for those that have the same reoccurring dreams of being back in school. Do you recognize classmatese, your actual friends? I just realized that when I dream about being back in school most of the time I don't recognize these people lol. In my dreams I'm not lost or anything. In real life I wasn't mr popular but I still had friends. But I never dream about them. Occasionally I'll dream & recognize somebody from my school but never classmates I actually hung around a lot. Weird that's all.

I do. For me, I think it’s because it’s the one thing I didn’t finish. I dropped out a year and half before finishing college and I get these dreams of failing school every single time. The odd thing is, it usually takes place in high school. I have very fond memories of high school. What I realized about my dreams is that they’re usually about something in my conscious that I don’t want to face or remember. Sometimes, it involves people I’m no longer in contact with or situations where I wish things could of been different. Then every once in a while I get super random dreams that revolve around adrenaline. Anyone here get sleep paralysis? I’ve had a couple over the last few years where I wake up from bed and then feel like someone or something else is pinning me down to my bed and then I wake up exactly in the same position in my bed. They’re usually pretty dark.

I've had dreams like this before. It's usually college merged with my high school. In the last dream I had about this, I missed half a semester of a class because I couldn't find the classroom.
I really don't miss school.

Every now and again I get them (I am 21)
But, I remember for the first 6 months out of High School I got them consistently. And I remember in August 2019 being in like some state of derealization because I was so in tuned with going back to school. But I was going every morning to my job at the time selling medicare.
I get them now semi frequently I think lately because life is kicking my ass in everyway it wants to, and I always take comfort in the long nights out partying my Junior year and the funny moments.
