this you? Fear mongering that they're gonna keep your money? 🤔 Trying to project "fear mongering" (lol) onto someone doesn't quite work when they end their comment with this: "I'm not worried about not recieving my figures, just noting the date while i was looking through my orders."Did you conveniently ignore that part or just read what you wanted to read and rushed to hyperbolically post about "fears & lies"? Ok, well made my comment nice & bold for you so you dont miss it this time 😙 then please tell me your point about the 180 days of PayPal comment 😙

So I guess, if things were to go wrong, I'm out that money.Im not sure what you need explained to you. Every part of that was factual, no?

Fact or not, its a subtle way to imply wrong doing from powertown. There is no way this company is going to steal money from their customers and the talent they have signed or involved with at this point with all the promotion and reveals. Should they update more on the delays and reasons for the delays? probably. Will we still get what we ordered? Absolutely

Absolutely I think you guys might be misconstruing general message board discourse & rambling for something more nefarious than was actually intended. If anyone were to go through my posts here, i think they will see that. As far as the other thing, its more about maintaining an overall online presence not necasarily keeping us updated on the trajectory of the figures, though that would be nice too. But its been radio silence across all channels.

Any news on the Cardona figure? It can’t be too much longer. Can it?

Any news on the Cardona figure? It can’t be too much longer. Can it? PowerTown hasn’t updated their website since June. Their last post to social media was August 16 to plug pre-orders for series 2. MC shared his unpainted sample along with a robe (prototype?) on September 2nd. That’s all the info I could find.

The way they seem to have disappeared is a bit unnerving especially since we’re now in the part of the year when they said the Remco All Stars series 1 would be shipping & we have heard absolutely nothing as of now … if those don’t materialize then they better be prepared to hand out some serious cash in the form of refunds, to myself included … this is BS

Taken from their website. It would be nice if the status page was updated every 60 days (at minimum) even if things are going as planned.

Powertown should do more updates. Even if they’re behind. I’m sure they could easily post progress pics of the figures getting made.

I’ve messaged him before, and he did respond.

I just went to powertowns contact on their site. I sent a polite message mentioning that there hasn’t been an update since June, and if the remcos are still on track to ship in October. If I hear back, I’ll post here.

I would still like to see Remco comparison pics with a MOTU Origns-style figure.

Starting to worry. Seems noone is getting a response from their team. Just weird that they are not at least letting us know there may be delays. I was expecting a shipping soon message for the remcos but nothing.

On Facebook, they've replied to a person spamming their posts saying Powertown is a scam Magnum mentioned the website's schedule will be updated soon Even with delays, Powertown earned my goodwill with how they handled the broken leg situation of those early series 1 figures (not to mention how excellent the s1 Ultras turned out to be)

PT isn't Mattel, things take time. Delays happen and PT is clearly not happy about it either.

PT isn't Mattel, things take time. Delays happen and PT is clearly not happy about it either. Never seen any mention of delays on any social media post of theirs. Not sure who your post refers to but my last post was in response to someone who contacted them by email and has apparently still not got a response as he said he would post here if he did. Perhaps they should move their contact page to Facebook as that appears to be the only place they have given limited responses. By the way are you affiliated with them because you sure seem to know more about certain delays than the rest of us. Can you take a Screenshot showing where they said there are delays? If true do you not think they should let people who pre-ordered know? Or at the very least let people know they only respond on facebook. Lastly they had been updating their Instagram almost every 3 days but now we are at 6 weeks. Again, people react when things change without explanations. Everything seems very secretive and without transparency. That is when most people start thinking something is off. Noone here is impatient as many of us have waited at least 6 months or longer but even when following Kickstart campaigns there are constant updates. If you think 2 months without any online presence bar a single fb response is normal than OK. Many here do not, especially, when they were previously constantly in contact with their customers. Now that they have our money we should at least get an update... we are not talking a few thousand dollars here... I am old school and I speak my mind. I am not generation-scared-to-speak-up. I don't normally respond to comments like yours but you have been painting everyone in this thread as fear mongers when again people's responses are normal. It just seems as others have said that there is no interest on their end to continue a long term relationship with their biggest fans/buyers. I have seen this before and I have seen the fallout. I also remember what happened when people just went along with the narrative (everything is fine, dont think for yourself, just do it). I don't follow along like a lemming. The moment we stop questioning things and put our trust over 100% in others is when people get deceived. Bottom line, some people spent a lot of money on their product and there are indeed statues of limitations on these things which Kickstarter protects customers against. This was not a kickstarter product campaign however... I'll repeat what I said a few weeks back, they know customers are unhappy (right?) And some are even backing out. Why wouldn't they at least let people know there are delays to qualm fears? weeks later and nothing has changed? edit: 8:1] a.m With all that being said, I don't agree with the guy on facebook, if this was a scam we would not have gotten s1. The worry for some is thT their .only is tied up (resellers) who ordered in large quantities and for others like myself that there won't be future series. The product is fantastic no doubt. Looks like 2025 is the earliest the product arrives if I reD between the lines.

I actually didnt bother to follow up here cause I figured people were going to read it as spreading more fear. But, yes, I emailed them twice a couple of days apart last week asking to cancel one of my orders and never got a response. Thats it. I'll just wait and see how it plays out like everyone else.

I want to keep the faith, as there's guys are really filling that niche. Id hoped that they'd go full out with the advertising and leaning into their business model of the talent they were targeting. I would've been all over the names and hyping them up. Its not just the toys.

I am not too worried about this, since the start they seemed to be stop and go as far as communication. Maybe it feels worse now that they have product on the go and people have already given them money, but it seems before Ultra S1 came out we would go months without any updates, then a rash of news/images within a few weeks, then another longer wait.
The thing though is that the above post was in a reply on Facebook. How hard would it be to have the same thing, worded maybe a little more 'corporately', and post it on their website and ALL their social medias? That would have helped, I think.
