Toni can be the big fish in the small pond here. Since half of these chicks can't wrestle in AEW. Bunny is actually decent and surprisingly a better wrestler than Thunder Rosa I agree. Taking a look at what women talent they have, and only like 7-8 of them out of 25 are actually really good. The others are at least decent or just not very good. I hope they can use more Joshi wrestlers as the year rolls on. I think that added a lot to the division in early AEW. |

Solid show as always.
Can't lie, Toni Storm has work to do to win me over. I know she's got a lot of fans, but I've never really gotten the hype behind her. I was hoping for Athena or Mia Yim for an ex-WWE girl coming over. But, I've been won over by others before, no reason I can't buy into her too.
The bigger pop on the women's side for me came from finding out Marina is going to fight Jade next week. Marina has gotten really damn good since she got cut from NXT. I'm looking forward to her at Bloodsport this weekend, and hoping she shows out well next Wednesday and gets the graphic. Need more Diamante on my TV too while we're at it for Dark talent moving up!
Regardless, at this point it's easily the best women's division in North America. I don't follow TJPW enough to give a fair comparison there, and it's obviously not on Stardom's level, cuz nothing is. But, it's the best in N.A. now. Which, really, was the last missing piece for the company as a whole in terms of roster quality.
I'm glad everyone can stop sleeping on Wheeler Freaking Yuta. I was getting tired of waiting for everyone to get the memo.
Fully here for face FTR, and can they please make up with Hangman and give me the stable we never got last year. Cody's gone so needs a new 4th.
Absolutely stacked rampage coming up Friday, excited to watch it after Supercard of Honor finishes.

First time I'm able to watch a full episode Dynamite in a while. The show was pretty good for most of the night, some good solid matches. I really enjoyed Moxley/Lethal and Danielson/Yuta. Now after that match, the show went down. I'm already bored with the Jericho Appreciation Society, I think the groups lame in a change the channel way. I wasn't too impressed with Toni Storms debut. Yay wrestler #200 to make a debut, hard for me to care when there's still 100 other workers on the roster. Hopefully things change, but as someone who was a big Toni Storm fan, her NXT UK days was the last time I was impressed by her. The main event was dull for me. Again, I was a big Andrade fan back then, but he also hasn't done any impressive imo since his series of matches with Rey Mysterio. Outside of those three segments/matches, I loved the show

Hopefully their attempt to push some women outside of the main event level leads to Ruby being given something to do. She hasn’t done a damn thing since losing to Britt at Grand Slam.

She made the TBS finals and had easily her best match in AEW vs. Statlander, which was the second best match in the tourney after Shida/Deeb. ... and then she hasn't done a damn thing. |
