Hey guys, some of you are familiar with my You Tube channel The New 80's Revolution. I conducted an interview with Steve Rosenthal, half of the brain child of the new Powertown figures. Steve is also a former VP at Remco and help create our favorite AWA figures. Check it out. If this is not allowed, go ahead and delete!

Cheers for the heads up. 👍 What are these Powertown figures? Is this a new line or are they the ones mentioned in another thread? E.T.A. I Googled it and they're the ones discussed previously. 🍻 I'm interested to see how these turn out and if they plan on making more down the line.

Totally constructive criticism thenew80srevolution -- but I would try and see if you can improve the audio. I'd love to listen -- but hard at that quality. Some friends might have tips for you, or some websites -- or you could try paying someone cheaply on Fiverr

Always a big fan of your YouTube channel brother! Enjoyed the interview and the audio quality is something that can be improved but for this first time out still very enjoyable to learn about this new line

Looks good. Interesting that they already have 200 wrestlers/managers signed. It would be cool to see the list.

Hadn't heard of this line before it popped up in my twitter feed last night; have to say I love the look of them. They don't have many followers though, so I'm wondering if they can be funded.

Some huge news revealed. Ddp, Harley race, madusa, nitro girls and close to 200 signed. This has the potential to blow away the mattel legends line.

Don’t see the line succeeding there. The guy sounded extremely confident that the goal would be met. I’m sure once series one is funded subsequent series will just be for sale

Are these figures like the AWA Remco figures or in scale with WWE/AEW figures?

I really hope these are in scale with Mattel/Jazwares. Remco style would be such a waste.

The figure's they've shown look unbelievable and with the names they've shown so far, it's a line I'd love to get involved in.
Something to think about I guess.

I agree. The thing that surprised me the most was the list of talent that they apparently have as exclusive signings. So if this doesn't get off the ground I wonder how long the rights of say a Bobby Heenan for instance are off the table for WWE/Mattel.

Why does Mattel just showed new figures of Macho Man and Ted Dibiase if the rights of the signed talents are exclusive to Powertown? Also Alundra Blayze was added to the WWE Champions mobile game a few days ago.

Yeah, plus their going with very specific, pre-wwf versions of these guys...AJPW Ted DiBiase, Randy Poffo, etc.
I'm wondering if the bodies we see on these renders are just placeholders. The interview mentions figures will have at least 25 points of articulation but I'm only counting less than 20.
