Pretty straight forward question.
We're in 2022 and the Jakks board on here isn't as active anymore, which is understandable, but I'd love to see more of you guys posting what you've been picking up. So.. what have you been picking up? Is there one line you're trying to complete, are you dabbling in multiple, are you just starting with Jakks again through nostalgia and having fun or have you just never stopped collecting.
Be good to get some movement on this board again, as you can't beat seeing Jakks figures.
Thought this would be a fun topic so have at it.

I have never stopped collecting Jakks TBH it is has growing slowly over the past few years it has taken a back seat with the Mattel and AEW figures being the main thing I have been collecting. I started by getting the figures that were impossible for me to get in the beginning (Spike Dudley hardcore championship figure, Kenzo Suzuki, etc.) and once I got them I moved from getting one of each wrestler from the Attitude Era to the end of 2009 era. Now I still need some managers, Divas, and updating some guys with a more preferred look.

Same I got a list of figures I’d like but Im waiting to run into a great deal not really actively hunting Ra Rtruth Ra Lillian Garcia Ra Jillian hall Ra Delaney Ad hawkins/Ryder Ad Vickie/edge Ra kenzo/ rene dupree Might need a few more to complete my regular Ra line roster |

Some that i had, or would like MOC versions of.
- Deluxe Aggression 6 Edge (I bought one a few years ago, but decided to open it. Would like one MOC again)

These days Im mainly buying up figs to make into DA customs. Ive got WM IX mirror Doinks made with the extra arm and now I just need a Kona Crush if I can ever find a head. And I have a WM X Doink that just needs a Dink.
Once in a while a fig pops up that ill add to my collection, like the TTL Stephanie in the blue dress who may become an interviewer or additional announcer in my figfed, as well as an RA Bischoff that i put an nWo decal on the shirt

i still have about 40 or 50 jakks classics and then some randoms from when I was a kid that I will always keep, I'm not actively collecting at the moment.

I bought most of the hardest to find figures first, which worked well for me. My bagged mailaway Hogan was about £100 5 years ago. Now they're around 2k.... Sadly didn't get Dusty, Green Card Yoko or Black Shawn so they won't be fun to buy. |
