I grew up with the wrestling federation bootlegs and kind of wish dollar stores still carried them. Makes me wish I found more than the same 4 I always saw after seeing figurecollector's thread.

View AttachmentMy first 2 figures, got them in 1989 or 1990: Hulk Hogan and Big John Studd, funny story; it'd take until 2002 before I realised it was Studd, not Hercules. View AttachmentIn December 2020 I finally bought the Wrestler Ring. See those drawn on glasses on Studd, I mean Brut? It's on EVERY box I've seen. I think I had this! Do you know if it was ever released as a set with the ring and those two figures? I got this or something very similar in summer 1991 or 1992, as a prize from an amusement arcade. I thought the dark haired guy was a Macho Man knock-off.

However other bootleg/generic lines in the MOTU-style exist under the name "Wrestling Champions", one of the better "Wrestling Champions" is by a company called Madison LTD. Their line consists of 12 named wrestlers and a ring that comes with 1 or 2 figures and a championship belt. One of their wrestlers - "Bone Crusher" Powerful Pete - could pass as a bootleg Macho Man.
