Just found Unrivaled series 7 in Smyths Glasgow, had plenty of Archer, Bucks, Cash and Dax but no Nyla's.

My Smyth's in Longbridge, Birmingham had tons of FTR, some bucks, a few Archers and that was it. No sign of Nyla.

Surely that's just this one company, and not all retailers would turn down Nyla though?

In terms of major retailers, we only have Smyth's and The Entertainer. I'm sure some of the smaller indie retailers will pick her up, if possible.

If one store decides they don't want her, maybe it's not worth Jazwares sending any over. Logistics can be tricky.
I'm surprised Smyths are ordering any AEW figures, given how often they end up on clearance. Perhaps they just looked at Nyla and thought "Another woman wrestler??? We can't gewt rid of all of these Rihos!". Call me an optimist, but I hope that if they do decide not to stock her, it's for business reasons and not out-dated moral ones.

I literally said this a few weeks ago, but in terms of AEW in Smyths it’s hardly worth paying full price for any of them because a week later they’re reduced. My local Entertainers are filled with AEW and they ain’t shifting. I just hope for the guys over here that collect them that this isn’t a bad omen.

I went to our Smyth's before Christmas and there was tons of AEW stuff and they managed to shift quite a lot by yesterday. There's some stuff that's been there for ages though, mainly Riho, Throne Breaker Cody and a few other bits and pieces, most of which was reduced. I picked up a Riho for the belt for my Blood and Guts Britt.

It's not a store by store basis, it's removed from being ordered by UK stores. I just asked Figpopshop and he replied saying it's a country removal.

Original post sounded so odd that I found it hard to believe, but its quite sad that we have some UK users who are visiting stores and finding loads of Wave 7 but zero Nyla's.
Without making assumptions, the figure is awfully cheap on Ringside already. I wonder if this was done to avoid another Riho type of shelf warmer at overseas retailers. I am just trying to be optimistic here. The idea that Nyla was left out of the case because she is a trans woman just seems so odd to me.

How many times have we seen UK members saying that they don't get the full wave of Elites?

This is most likely The case as aew figures don't last long until they get reduced here in the UK, also the main street retailer smyths has been cherry picking elite waves for a few years now save a few waves around Christmas time

It's definitely possible that either Jazwares or the retailers (or both) are making a decision to exclude figures that may be lower selling. And across the board the female figures just don't have strong demand, whether you're talking AEW or WWE. Even Brit's figure - arguably one of the hotter (or at least most featured) acts in the company, and a first time figure - was marked down pretty fast on Ringside. It isn't great for collectors, but it's a better option than losing UK distribution entirely for Jazwares.

I still maintain the problem is there’s no introductory figures for parents and the figures are rotting because the collector market alone cannot sustain a line Say they had a basic line, £10 a figure and a kid got Cody, mox, Bryan as a version of hop picks etc then there’s a luchasaurus at £20 a parent is more likely to buy the luchasaurus because they already have the others snd have spent £50 on 4 figures. However at the moment for those 4 figures t would be £80 minimum - that £30 makes a big difference in buying habits and perception. These are not your marvel collector figures sold in comic shops with ‘this is not a toy’ or an age rating over that of kids playing with toys. They are toys sold in toy shops, confirming to safety standards st for kids toys. My biggest criticism is there’s no entry level

They are toys sold in toy shops, confirming to safety standards st for kids toys. My biggest criticism is there’s no entry level I've made this argument before, because this is exactly why the toy belts and the basic rings have always hung around forever on the Wal-Mart shelves here. The WWE basic line's $10 price point is a magic number. The lack of an equivalent for AEW, which ratings consistently show has a younger median viewer age, is basically just giving up on any kid engagement with the product. I get that they can't produce in the same volume as Mattel, but if they can hover anywhere in the $10-12 range they can pump out toyetic acts like Jurassic Express and Darby all day long.
I'm going to hope, back to the original topic, that this is just them warding off pegwarming. It's still not an incredible look, specifically leaving out the female figure, but there's probably at least sales data you can point to (although Nyla's way more interesting a figure than either member of FTR). Some collectors are weird about female wrestler figures even now.
