Don't get cut on that edge. I was never a Full House fan. Bob's comedy never quite landed with me, and I liked AFHV as a kid, but I think that's about the extent of my being a "fan" of his. Nevertheless, I am a fan of comedy in general, and I know that, for good reason, Bob was a well-respected, and almost universally beloved comic among the circles of performers I am a fan of. It's perfectly normal to empathize with the loss of another, even if you're not a fan of the person who was lost. In particular, the tributes from Gilbert Gottfried, Patton Oswalt, Pete Davidson, and BJ Novak really hit me in the feels. Gilbert's was particularly gutting, detailing the dark humor they both shared, where somebody saying "Bob Saget is dead" wouldn't be at all out of the realm for some sort of elaborate joke between friends among them. The sad part is that now, he's waiting for the punchline that's never going to come. Christ. |

Growing up, my little sister watched full house everyday and I thought it was so corny. Also Bob on AFV was cringy.
…Then I heard him deliver one line in the movie “Half Baked” and I never looked at the dude the same way again lol

This one hurt. He was a light during my childhood. America Funniest Home video and Full House. Talk about the amount of time those were on reruns in my house. Let alone hearing his stand up comedy as adult, whoa big surprise lol

His family (and death report) have come out and said he somehow hit the back of his head (bruise found back of skull) and went to sleep. So heartbreaking.

Has there been any kind of update on what exactly happened? I'd heard speculation of foul play involved, but that's not confirmed.
